Dundee was very prompt and Jordan kept in touch frequently throughout the entire process. All crews were friendly and did excellent work. The value ended up to be better than what the original landscaper with the builder was going to charge. I would highly recommend them.

We were terrible customers! Jordan had to be very patient with us. First, we met with Jordan for about an hour to discuss the current conditions of our front yard, to select trees, and to determine placement of those trees. After Jordan staked where the trees would be planted, I had second thoughts so we had Jordan come back again. Then my husband decided the placement wasn't right, so we had Jordan come back a third time! He was very patient to make sure that we were both satisfied. We discussed that one large branch of one of the dying maples should be cut down so that a new linden tree had enough light, and Dundee took care of that and hauled off the branches. They carefully mulched the new trees and gave us instructions to water every day for a couple of months. The only recommendation I would have is that they provide written care instructions. Other than that, we were very happy with the tree planing.

Jan was my contact at Dundee. She walked around my house and talked me through what she thought needed to get done. Her feedback was pretty spot on with multiple other landscapers that I received a quote from.
The difference between Jan and everyone else is that Jan came in $800 - $1,000 cheaper. I was skeptical at first but she explained her thinking and I gave her team a shot. I have NO REGRETS. The flower bed looks fantastic and it's exactly what I wanted. Her team was punctual and polite.
I would highly recommend Dundee if you have landscaping needs.

We were really pleased with the landscaping services from Dundee Nursey - specifically Sarah Lloyd. She is passionate about landscape design and built a longer-term strategy and sectioned out different stages so we can invest a bit at a time to ultimately get what we want. The services were professional, on time and on budget. We were left with a great binder of our plans and care for each type of plant, flower and tree used. I highly recommend them!

Doug Fargo (planner) and the entire crew were a total joy to work with. Plan was finalized with a beautiful curved tile paver sidewalk, and patio, easy care shrubs and many varieties of hostas, which will flower at various times. Our old evergreen (which had been planted too close to the neighbor's garage) was removed, and replaced with a dwarf variety. River rocks were all removed then replaced with new since we had them around the entire house, so we had lots of larger boulders added for visual interest. My favorite feature is a small bubbling rock fountain which looks and sounds gorgeous. A bunch of "dog damaged" sod was also replaced, and my back yard 'jungle" around two trees was also re-landscaped, with more easy care but beautiful greenery and flowers. We totally love our "new" yard.

They were fast and professional. The patio was beautiful. Their responsiveness was great. We were building a house so when it came down to the wire, they did that in 3 days. They were really expensive even though I had no tried out another place.

They did a great job and it looked beautiful when they were done. They were on time and cleaned up after themselves. The designer was so helpful and easy to work with, spent a lot of time with me to help me figure out what I wanted. I liked the whole experience!

The original contact was made by phone and Gill Landis, General Manager, sent color photos of trees with detailed descriptions and prices by mail as my mother's computer is down and could not review the information online. Gill followed up 8/14/14 with an application and explained in detail, the information on the Japanese Lilac tree that she chose. On 9/16/14 the tree was planted by a crew from their company. On 9/18/14 Gill Landis personally followed up on the planting of the tree, and brought a water bag/collar to put around the tree and also brought mulch as well. He explained how and when to properly water the tree until the first freeze. I have seen the work myself and it is great. My mother is so pleased and was thrilled with Gill's personal touch of stopping by later and brought her extra mulch and plants that was from his own personal garden!

The person (Laura) who did the planters has exceptional knowledge of their inventory and created beautiful, colorful and unique planters. We had Dundee deliver the completed planters to our home.
Some of our shrubs did not survive the winter and the snow plow! We brought pictures of the area and were given good choices of shrubs to replace the damaged ones. We took these home with us.

It all went great. Jan the designer gave me a lot of personal attention and met with me a few a number of times until I was comfortable with the plan. The crew that prepared the site and planted the garden was very nice and did a terrific job. All the plants are thriving and it looks really nice. It's great to work with a local company and I would recommend Dundee.

They were awesome. They were really willing to work with us. We negotiated on cost and materials. If it was too expensive he was like, "Okay, well you can still want that look we'll see you these or you can get these stones from this place and do that part yourself." You can see that they are really willing to work with us to come up with what we wanted it to look like and they really helped us achieve that. Their planner, Bryan, was the one that really worked with us on that and helped us come up with trees and stuff. I was really impressed with his knowledge and his eye for how things are going to look. There were a lot of things that we had to work around and he came up with really creative work around that turned out much better than I've ever anticipated. We had to have some major changes once we got into it.

Love Dundee and their products but the woman doing the flowers is VERY unfriendly! We felt like we were bothering her and "putting her out" both when we ordered and when we picked up. She didn't treat us with respect and wasn't helpful picking out flowers or giving us ideas. We felt unwelcome.

Dundee's landscape designer came out, listened carefully to what we wanted and our budget, and walked us through options for changes. We agreed on a design, plant selections, all the extra parts needed and wrote up the order. Dundee delivered the whole batch and we set off to do the installation. It took us several weeks since we had to rip out the old plantings, clean the old rock, and then put it all together. It looks fantastic and brand new.

- 1. Overall look was updated significantly with newer style plants and ground covers.
- 2. Cost was much less than we expected when we started due to careful selection of the plants!!!
- 3. We did all the work ourselves. It took a lot longer than having Dundee do the work, but saved significant money.
- 4. The landscape design was free as long as we bought the plants from Dundee.
- 5. The plants were all very high quality, our designer helped us select healthy and properly shaped plantings.
- 6. The designer instructed us in how to complete the installation avoiding issues we would have on our own.
- 7. We used new and unique plants to get an updated look.
- 8. The designer helped us sort out a mistake we made in plant selection.
- You can't do this by buying plants at a big box store and designing your own plantings. Use a professional and get it designed right.

The person I worked with at Dundee had some creative ideas. I had a criteria regarding how I was going to choose the landscaper. Basically, it was how well our thoughts worked together. His ideas were enhancing what I thought I wanted. In dealing with the architect, Dundee was on site, and I was able to make changes through out the project. I appreciated the fact that he was hands on. I would use Dundee again.

The project went quite well. Last year we had changed the landscaping of the front yard and had a low curving retaining wall built around a mature tree standing in the middle front of the house. This spring we lost about a third of the tree in a storm and had to completely remove it. We talked with several nurseries about our needs and their landscaping services and settled on Dundee because they seemed most in tune with our thinking. They provided a plan as part of the project (the payment for the plan being credited to the total project invoice) which was slightly modified as we discussed it. They helped us select specific trees, bushes, & plants and showed them to us as we walked thru their facility. Their installers were prompt, friendly, very fast, and neat. Their lead landscaper was very knowledgeable and shared a lot of info about our existing bushes. We plan to use their service next spring to get our existing bushes under control.

About ten years ago, I had them plant some trees for me. One of the trees was a Maple, and during the same year, I had Top Notch Trees here. They said that Dundees had planted the tree too deep. Another arborist said the same thing. Finally, I talked to a sales manager, and they said they'd take care of it, but they never did. Last summer, the tree went dormant, particularly on one branch. I had Top Notch come and look at the tree and they said the roots were twisted. They said there was a problem and weren't sure how well it would do. They said it would be dying early. I'm mad them. They planted four things and now, they're all dead. There are two kinds of Maples one that lasts at least 50 years and the other much longer. This one was supposed to last longer.

The whole project was on-time and on-budget. The designer worked very hard to meet our needs and our requests. The price was great for the work we had done. Everything looks excellent and we are very satisfied with how it turned.
