"She chose the seasonal contract rate. We also offer a per snow fall contract rate. We cannot control how much snow we get in any given year. We are sorry for your displeasure. Two visits for snow plowing service is not a good gauge of the quality of our service."

They have been a blessing. They charge whether there is snow or not. We initially had trouble getting them to return our calls. I had better luck using email to communicate. We do not have a contract with them. It is a family owned business. We are really pleased with them. They will wait while we move the cars out of the drive way. I highly recommend them. I will continue to use them.

I signed up with them for the 2013/2014 snowplowing season. The service to date has been excellent based on approximately 4 times they have plowed my driveway.

I was so impressed with Dows Lawn & Snow, last April, with all the thawing & snowing they gouged a little patch of turf up on the boulevard. Before I could even decide whether or not to bother them about it I came home & the spot had been raked up & grass seed put down. Then just today, I was calling because the city had come out plowing & the end of the drive was filled with plow clumps & they told me their crews were out already clearing them just to be good to their customers. ( Normally I think they will come out if you call & charge you a few dollars) There is nothing not to like about these guys

Dow Lawn Service and snow was very responsive and performed high quality work at a very reasonable price. They were reliable and followed through on my requests for the work, without delay. They furthermore sent me information regarding fall clean-up services and snow removal for future needs.

I wasn't real, real pleased with him. ?For one thing he did the driveway and he damaged quite a bit of the sod. ?He got way too far over. ?I just wasn't please with the way he did things. ?The driveway I felt could have been done in a better way. ?He did damage quite a bit of my sod. ?He had to know because you could see it on top of the snow.

"EVERY snowplowing service is going to do some damage to sod. It gets damaged because you cannot see where the driveway ends and grass begins. Just try to keep in mind that the sod damage always looks worse than what it is in the spring. If you would've called us in the spring we would've stopped by and fixed the damage at no charge. Usually by the end of spring it looks better. We retain 90% of snow plowing customers from year to year. Several of our customers we have had for 14 years."

Quick and easy.
Young man actually doing the job kept headphones on all the time. Did not let me know he had arrived so I could make contact or tell him any concerns or ask questions. Did not contact when leaving with any instructions about what to do to assist in the application being highly successful, such as when to water.
Have a concern that the spray got on vegetable garden.

"If you had any questions our workers would have been happy to answer it for you. It is okay to approach any of our employees. Furthermore, if you had any questions you could have called the office as well. Our employees are doing the work during business hours and most homeowners are at work so we don't knock on doors. The only spraying we have done in your yard is spot spray. I doubt we sprayed any on your vegetables. If you had any concerns why didn't you call us?"

Dow's have been responsible for keeping my driveway, sidewalks, steps, deck free of snow anytime we have an inch or more of snowfall. They are extremely punctual, and if we get more snow after they've been out, they make a return trip. They do neat and impressive work -- very happy with everything they've done. The price is very good. They are highly reliable. I am an extremely satisfied customer!

With our first big snow storm of the season, Dow's did an excellent job. They came a couple times during the snow storm and then came back to "clean up" the bottom of the driveway after the city plow went through.
A couple month's ago when we were gathering quotes to have snow plow service, Dow's was extremely customer-focused. They were timely in providing a quote and happily answered our follow-up questions. We have a seasonal contract with Dow's and pay per plow. They were not the cheapest quote we received but based on the first snow storm, they provide great service.

They do an excellent job and we are very happy with their work. They are dependable, they are always there when they are supposed to be, they work quickly, they are thorough, and the prices are fair. They have a flat charge for the season for snow removal so it doesn’t matter how many times they come out.

My call was returned promptly and all options were described/quoted in detail; I really enjoyed speaking with Denise. Although their schedule was already full, because my location is close to their business they agreed to take me on as a client. We've only had one snowfall so far but the job was done just as they said it would be. If everything continues well this winter I will definitely considering using their services this summer and beyond.

We obtained estimates from DOWS and two other lawn service companies. We accepted DOWS proposal on Wednesday, 5/12/10. They immediately added us to one of their routes, and showed up promptly the following Tuesday for the 1st service, 05/18/10. I caught their attention as they were finishing and busily loading up their equipment to head to their next job. With no sign of impatience, they immediately paused for introductions, a brief chat, and an honest thank you for our new business. They said they'd be back every Tuesday, weather permitting, to mow our lawn. They have kept their word, and have punctually mowed our lawn every Tuesday morning since 05/18, except for one rainy day in which case they mowed the very next day. Each mowing has left our lawn and property looking great; everything is well trimmed and the sidewalk and driveway or blown clean of clippings. Based on our association with DOWS LAWN & SNOW, we say they are an outstanding example of a well run and customer oriented small business which consistently delivers a high quality service.

This is the 2nd time I've used this company and will do so again in the future. Great communication. They did the job while I was at work and sent me the bill a few days later. I haven't compared prices with other companies, so that's why I just gave them a "good" rating in that category.

The guys do a quality job every week. They clean up the yard well. I have two dogs and am always concerned that the gate will be left open, when they leave. Only once last summer did they forget to close the gate when they left.
