Diamond Lake Rental is terrific. We were snowed in and unable to clear our driveway with a snowblower or truck plow. Not only did Diamond Lake Rental have a small bobcat for rent, but they also drove it down a few blocks to our house and cleared our driveway for us! Then for good measure, they also cleared the walkway to the street. We are so appreciative of their service. I especially want to thank Bill. His help was a godsend. We will definitely call Diamond Lake Rental the next time we need any special equipment. We highly recommend this neighborhood business. Thank you!!

This was a weird experience. I visited the shop and arranged to rent a stump grinder through Bill. It was delivered, but was old and promptly broke down in my back yard. I called and they came to pick it up; we agreed that I would pay the delivery charge but not for the rental, as I didn't get to do the work I had anticipated. A couple of days later I noticed that some work had been done in my yard and my credit card was charged the full price for the rental. No one had called me, in fact I tried to call Bill several times and he would not get back to me. I called the store and reached one of the employees, who told me they had come back into my yard without notifying me and had ground out the stumps they thought I wanted removed... they seemed to think I would appreciate this, but I was in fact rather taken aback that they would do this. I didn't get all the work done that I had planned to for the price, and am uncomfortable with people just coming into my yard when I am not home to do work I did not hire them for. Overall, they have their heart in the right place, but aren't very professional.

The paint I used was a heavy primer and the sprayer was not able to spray satisfactory. However, when I brough the sprayer back, the owner examined the tool, fixed the problem (a screen was clogged) and offered to give me a price break and an extension. We ended up canceling the transition, but the experience was a good one nevertheless

I was pleased with the selection of tillers. When the one I wanted didn't fit in my trunk they were able to immediately deliver it for $15 extra. The machine, a 5-horse model, was capable of churning up roots that were invading my garden. When I was done I left it in my driveway, called them, and they came and picked it up, though I had to call a couple of times before they came. But it was Saturday, and I'm sure they were busy.

I needed a specialized ladder to get to an awkward position in my stairwell to replace a light bulb. I was able to rent a 'Little Giant' ladder from Diamond Lake Rental (retail cost is >300) the day I called. They helped me put in it my car and offered some suggestions regarding use. I saved a lot of money by doing this myself.

This is my neighborhood rental that I always use for tools, and I will continue to do so. The manual snake was worthless because it could not navigate my drain. I don't think I will rent one of those things again. I wish the rental guy would have recommended using gloves, and dummy me for not thinking about it. I got very grimie and no telling where that snake has been. Of course when I returned the snake the rental guy was quick to grab his gloves. I guess for the money spent it was a good lesson learned.

The first tiller would not operate correctly, so we were given a credit for a tiller the following weekend. Not much instruction is given for using the equipment, so be sure and ask if you have any questions. The location was very convenient for us and we were in and out pretty quickly on a busy summer afternoon.

This is a wonderful shop to rent tools from. Shop is not the cleanest but they have a great selection and good prices. Also willing to cut a deal for unique needs and schedule. For example, I needed to cut about 10 ceramic tiles. Rather than rent the saw and haul it to my site, they set it up in the parking lot and let me use it there and only charged me for the time I used. I highly recommend this company.

Great service and an EXTENSIVE variety of tools and party equipment to rent. The rates are also very reasonable. We had tried to rent a nail gun from one of the big box home improvement stores but it was only available at certain locations (none of which were convenient for us) and also slightly more expensive.

Our neighborhood art center was hosting an event and we weren't able to pull together enough chairs. Out of all of the rental companies we could find, Diamond Lake Rental was one of only two who could help us on such short notice, and they were less than half the price of the other company (incl. Delivery charge). My only complaint was that I had to receive the chairs over my lunch break (we have no staff, only volunteers) and the delivery was waylaid -- I had to call twice and each time the person on the phone told me they would be there in 5 minutes, the second almost a half hour after the first. So I was an hour late getting back to work. Ben (who made the delivery) did help me carry the chairs up a flight of stairs, which was unexpected and appreciated. I have had similar problems from other (more expensive) party rental companies so I don't think it was a ''you get what you pay for'' problem, more like an unfortunately common problem in the industry. Would use again in the future.

I HAD TO RENT THE DRY WALL HOIST SEVERAL TIMES AS WE WERE FINISHING OUR BASEMENT. ALWAYS VERY PLEASANT WHEN PICKING UP AND DROPPING OFF EQUIPMENT. LOADED THE HEAVY PIECES FOR ME...EVEN GAVE ME A REFERRAL FOR OTHER WORK I NEEDED DONE. I WOULD DEFINITELY USE THEM AGAIN.

THEY OFFER INSTRUCTION ON USE OF THE VARIOUS EQUIPMENT, RECOMMEND APPROPRIATE SAFETY DEVICES/ITEMS (EAR PLUGS, SAFETY GLASSES, ETC), AND ARE AVAILABLE VIA PHONE TO ASSIST IF YOU GET YOURSELF INTO A JAM. ALSO HAVE GREAT PARTY RENTALS FROM HERE - INCLUDING DUNK TANKS, COTTON CANDY SPINNERS, AND KARAOKE MACHINES.
