Appointments were and are convenient; they are punctual, efficient, and pleasant and personable to work with; they are respectful of property, and prices are reasonable. When they are finished, we get a report on what the inspection showed, how full the tanks were and if there are any issues to be concerned with. Dan's ensures that Ham Lake is notified of the inspection and pumping.
One particular time, their records showed that we had let it go longer than we should have. Inspection showed no serious issues although it took longer than usual. They were honest about the inspection and they did not take advantage of the situation to make more money.
I do not hesitate in recommending Dan's Sewer Service for this unpleasant but necessary maintenance service.
The only suggestion I might make to Dan's is to that they might consider sending a reminder card to homeowners who have used their service in prior years.
Jerry, who runs the business, asked me to plug all the drains in the house, either with stoppers or wet rags (to prevent any odors from leeching into the home). While he was working with the septic tank, he offered a variety of tips and opinions on septic systems and water usage. After he left, I did notice a small odor in the home, which was quickly dissipated by opening some windows.
Prior to meeting Dan's Sewer Service, I was unaware of our tank's capacity: either 1,200 or 1,500 gallons. Normally, this would have left me vulnerable to shady services looking to make a quick buck by charging me the 1,500-gallon price when I actually had a 1,200-gallon tank. Not Jerry. He was very honest and told me that my tank was 1,200 gallons. In most other cases, I probably would have been stooped into paying a higher price.
Dan's Sewer Service was excellent, and I would highly recommend them to anyone.
