D & R BUILDERS

Last summer they rented out a house to a family that were drug dealers, after almost a year and mutliple visits from the police they finally evicted them. Now they have rented to level 3 s** offenders. We live on a quiet block with a lot of families and this company has a total disregard of that fact. If they don't care about this, what makes you think they'd do a good job remodeling your house.

I would use them again.

I paid Spalding everything upfront as a gesture of earnestness and a demonstration of "stupid" American "good" business! Beside the above-poor quality of his work, he is foremost in being a gold-bricking & irresponsible slacker who has no conscience. When I had a near-fatal medical incident when he was 1/2 finished, he purposely abandoned me, 6 years ago this was, and I'm still suffering from the untold misery of disarray.

D & R isn't the greatest builder around, but for the price they are very good. They have skills in many different areas and the owner is an engineer from England who has many Old World skills and ideas. He really knows what he's talking about. They can do many normally high-cost specialty jobs for reasonable prices as part of their overall service, and if something goes wrong, even not from them, they'll come running to help in an emergency. The one big fault is they are not on time unless you are always on their backs. The further along with the project, the more you need to be on their case, but they are good.
