CVS PHARMACY

Used the CVS phone pharmacy refill system. Two days later (today) when I arrived to pick up my ten prescriptions, they had five ready and explained one they needed new Rx from the doc and one they were waiting to come in as they were currently out of. I asked about the others. They didn't know about the others saying they had no way to see what I had ordered on the call in order system so they could not see what had been missed. They said I should not use the system and should talk to a live person to order each time I needed refills--great system! They asked to go through my meds. I don't have ten committed to memory so had to go home and take all ten out to call again. This time I sat on hold for 20 minutes as they were busy. Then we went through what they had filled, what they were waiting on as they were out or what they needed a new refill from the doc to find the prescriptions that their phone refill system dropped. I put them on notice that this was unacceptable, I absolutely do not have time for this, and if it happens again, I will transfer all of my medications to Sam's Club. They have better prices anyway I'd guess for insurance which means for the consumer anyway. THIS SPEAKS VOLUMES ON HOW LITTLE TARGET THINKS OF THEIR CUSTOMERS TO PUT A PHARMACY SO LACKING IN CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THEIR STORES.

They are quick. They answer my questions, like if I want the specifics about what the cost of the prescription will be before they fill it. The quality of their service is really good. I would use them again in the future if I needed to.

I use the CVS Pharmacy to purchase my prescriptions, they are prompt and professional. I don’t have to wait long for my prescriptions and they are friendly, I feel they care about my wellbeing. I do recommend to my family and friends

I feel that they have the best price. The staff there are very knowledgeable and thoroughly answer any questions that I have. I will continue to go here for my future prescription needs.

I picked up a new prescription for a very common medication used for treating hypothyroidism. I was told by my doctor that I needed to take the meds on an empty stomach so when I picked up the prescription I asked the pharmacist if I could take it with other medications as long as it was without food. "Ummm...yeah, I guess you can. I don't see why not" was the pharmacist's response. That didn't instill much confidence that he knew what he was talking about so I called my doctor's office and spoke to a nurse. Turns out if I take the thyroid medication with other pills it won't be properly absorbed so the pharmacist was wrong. This was the second time that I'd asked question about medication interactions or contraindications and he either said he didn't know or gave me the wrong information. I was driving several miles out of my way to go to CVS because I wanted to support a business that shared my belief about making emergency contraceptives available; however, I've taken my business elsewhere because of the mistakes made at this CVS location.
