It's not possible for me to say enough positive things about David DuBose/Cutting Edge Inc. Unfortunately, we had gone through 2 different, high scoring, wallpaper companies and Thumbtack - for 2 different jobs neither of which were satisfactory, the second job in particular which included a small bathroom, walk in closet was done so poorly (dozens of poor seams, bubbles, tears, overlaps) that it had to be completely redone. David responded to us within less than a day, came to our house, evaluated what needed to be done, and was not only very informative, and let us know that we had to start from scratch and why. The wallpaper needed to be removed, the walls prepped, and the paper was rehung, not only in that room, but in a stairwell. Considering what he had to deal with, he gave us an incredibly fair quote, which we immediately agreed to, and for his crew to come in and do the work. He got us scheduled within 10 days and the crew was nothing less than courteous, professional, and excellent at their jobs. They walked us through the whole process after completing the job, the wallpaper looked absolutely flawless and they cleaned up so well, you couldn't tell that they had been there. You may pay $100 or $200 more than other quotes that you may get, but just remember: you get what you pay for... and we learned that hard lesson twice before we found David DuBose/Cutting Edge Inc., if you want to get a job done right, stress free, and by someone that will back up their work 100% if there's something you do not like, look no further than David DuBose/Cutting Edge Inc. and we'll have them back when we're ready to do our kitchen.

David and his team members, Sergio and Alfredo, did incredible work! The precision and attention to detail was so impressive and they were able to get us on the calendar quickly. We chose a wallpaper with vertical line details which I would imagine is extra difficult, but the results were perfect and it brought the room to life! I would 100% use David again and recommend to anyone!

The Cutting Edge does excellent quality work. I have hired them for many projects, and they always deliver a beautiful installation. They work with difficult wallpapers and angled rooms, and are always up for the challenge.

Seven or eight years ago a storm rolled through the western suburbs of Minneapolis doing $40,000 to $50,000 in damage to our home. We hired our usual contractor to repair the damage. He did a good job on everything except our beautiful cedar deck on the south side of our home. When the contractor completed his work, our deck looked like it was covered in mud. The deck’s previous splendor became a distant memory and I resisted spending time on the deck. Nearly three years ago our house was in need of repainting. I stopped at our local paint store (the stores all the pros go to) and asked an acquaintance who has worked at the store for many years if he could recommend a painter to do high quality work. He gave me three names and I contacted all three. David DuBose the owner of Cutting Edge, Inc. came to look at the project on a Sunday afternoon. I told him straight-up that if he wasn’t confident that he could return the deck to its nearly original condition he should not take the job. He took one plank and told me he would get back to me. A short time later he told me he was confident he could bring the deck back to near original condition. At my request, Dave gave me a price to repaint the house, and a separate estimate to refinish the deck. I gave him both jobs. Dave contacted me about two weeks prior to the time he felt confident he could begin the project. As promised, Dave and his crew arrived right on schedule, ready to work. One or two members began preparing the deck and the remaining crew went to work preparing the house for paint. The house was completed very quickly and Cutting Edge did a GREAT job. The deck was completed a few days later and I could not have been more pleased. But the true test was time. Now, nearly three years later, the deck still looks brand new and you can’t get me off the deck. Just last week (03/2022), Cutting Edge completed a maintenance project on my home’s interior. Enamel trim (20 years old) had cracked and stained cabinets were showing wear and tear. A week of concentrated work by one of the Cutting Edge, finish guys and everything looked nearly as good new. I can’t say Cutting Edge is the least expensive in the short term. But I sincerely believe that quality work and quality products make Cutting Edge the best long-term value for the money. I have managed and developed a significant portfolio commercial property professionally since 1979. I highly recommend David DuBose and his Cutting Edge crew without any reservation.
