Great repair! I called on a Tuesday, with a request for Thursday morning, first call. Steve called ahead to say he'd be there at 8:30, which he was. He identified the problem, including straightening the bottom strut on the door that was triggering the door to lift, tightened and oiled the chain, and adjusted the indoor opener to work more easily. The door works more quietly and smoothly than it has in years. We were very pleased.

We could not be happier with the results from Custom Door Sales.. We absolutely love the doors and the company we bought them from! The purchase and install process was simple and without pressure. Everyone we dealt with was kind and considerate, and the pride the staff take in their work was evident throughout the process. Mike did a great job installing our garage doors and took the time to explain a number of different steps we can take in the years ahead to make sure they keep performing at a high level.

They were able to come out the next day. Installed great new opener that is so quiet you can hardly hear it go up even when standing in the garage.

Excellent service and responsiveness.  Called them on Sunday as I was having issues with the garage door not opening all the way and Dave was at my home Monday morning at 9a.  He was very professional and thorough.  Explained the new system very well.

I called on a Friday and was told they didn't have anyone available until Monday under regular rates.  The person I spoke with said I would get a call on Monday morning at 8:00 to schedule a time during the day for the repair.   By 8:45 Monday I had not received a call.  I called back and was told there was no record of the Friday call.  I explained he was the person I spoke with, and after some searching he found the scratch paper that he forgot to enter into their system.  He apologized and worked to get a repair person out ASAP.  The repair person called earlier than the window and asked it if would be ok to arrive early.  I agreed.  When he arrived the work was completed perfectly and promptly.  The repair person was courteous.  Anyone can make a mistake, it's how you recover that's important.

The installer (Jeremy I think) was courteous, competent, careful.. door looks great, works great, and the price was very competitive. The hardware (tracks, etc) seem like commercial grade or something - they look very solid. Thanks guys!

Things went really smoothly, the sales people in the showroom were really helpful, and the installer was on time and appears to have done a good job.

I could have done this myself but wanted the reassurance that taping was ok.  he also showed me where to lubricate the opener and door.

They replaced a broken garage door opener in less than 24 hours, very reasonable price and finished in about 45 minutes. We had used them previously when our garage door spring broke and received similar excellent service. 

I called a few companies from angieslist for pricing. They had the best price for what I was looking for so I had them come out and give me a written estimate. I did hire them to replace the door and it was uneventful. Everything went smoothly and I'm happy with the new door. It took a couple weeks for them to come out and do the job so it could have been a little quicker but for the price I paid I have no complaints.

Contacting the company with my questions and to schedule the appointment -- Amy Egan very professional and knowledgeable about their products.  She was able to answer all my questions accurately so that there were no surprises when they came.  I was also impressed how soon I was able to get an appointment when I needed a specific time (I called on Monday and needed the first appointment.  They came on Thursday, which really worked out well for me.)
Actual service person -- (Can't remember his name, Sorry!).  PROFESSIONAL, CLEAN, DETAIL ORIENTED, KNOWLEDGEABLE, PROMPT.  I received a call that morning saying when he would be there.  He looked at what I needed and got to work.  He answered my questions, made everything tidy (no loose wires running across the garage ceiling, wires at straight angels, cosmetics are important!) and took all the trash away when done.  I didn't have to sweep the garage floor to pick up stray bits of packing material -- it was all gone!
VERY pleased with the price.  When I received the quote, I asked what the labor, etc. would cost and was told it was all inclusive.  WOW -- I had expected a couple of hundred more when I started this process.

We had trouble with our garage door not opening, kind of a bummer when we had to go to work in the morning, we called Custom Door early (well, early to me 7:00 am) and they were available and would send someone.  They stated someone would call in 30 minutes it took an hour, it a bit longer than they expected to get here as well, but it was rush hour.  The tech came quickly found the problem and took care of it and explained to me what was wrong and I was confident in the explanation and everything was fixed.
I should rate them higher, sure, but he did park his truck on my flower bed.  That said, I would still have him back if I needed them to fix anything.

When I called on Tuesday (the day after Memorial Day) they said they could come out the next day.  I thought that was very responsive.
Rob the service guy who came out was terrific.  He not only identified why our garage door wasn't going down, but he did a great job fixing it.  He worked on the wiring on the sensors, lubricated the rollers and springs, tightened the bolts and was generally very detailed.  He seemed to work on our garage door as if it were his own. 
I also believe for the work he performed we got excellent value.
We will definitely hire Custom Door again and would recommend this company to anyone. 

They did a beautiful job.  They did everything as they said they would, for the price they said they would.  I just liked that, they were very simple and straightforward in showing the products and so it was simple to make a choice.  They gave a good explanation of why there were three different price ranges and what we got for each.  We went for the middle price range; it seemed like more down to the buck.  The color was off-white, just what we needed.  They came and did everything in the space we wanted done and I didn’t have to touch a thing.  One man did the whole job and he did it very well.

I didn't compare prices so I can't comment on that. Whole thing took about 30 minutes. He was even nice enough to take a look and give an estimate to a neighbor (who just happened to notice him working on my garage) that was having problems with her door also.

I received several bids to install the garage door, and Custom Door Sales was very competitive.  One might find a lower bid, but would not find a better value for the money.  Sue at Custom Door Sales was very patient with me over the phone, as I asked a couple hundred questions about the door designs, the various features available on each design, different costs, etc.  She told me exactly when the workers would arrive to install the door, and they arrived right on schedule.  The door was installed without incident, and it looks great.

I had never had an automatic opener on this garage before, and had in mind to install one myself after the door was put in.  I discovered after installation of the door that the design of this particular garage did not leave enough clearance for an overhead opener, and so I needed a special style of opener that mounts on the side of the door.  They are a little more expensive, and a little trickier to install than a normal overhead opener, so I called Sue and asked if they could come back and do that job also.  She quoted me a price, again it was competitive with the other bids I obtained, and then, unexpectedly and ..... UNSOLICITED..... offered to apply a nice discount to the cost of installing the opener because she remembered they had done the door install a month earlier.  It was the kind of personal service that is so rare in today's retail market, and saved me a little over $50.

The service side of installing the opener was an exact repeat of the door installation.  I knew when they were coming, they showed up on time, the opener went in without any issues, and both door and opener have been working flawlessly ever since.  I highly recommend Custom Door Sales, for their personal touch, their professional work, and their competitive pricing.

We were very pleased with Custom Door Sales.  They were timely in scheduling the appointment and getting to our house within a day.  The quality of their work was excellent, they had the correct part with them and the cost was very reasonable.

I was very pleased with entire experience.  I called Wednesday and spoke with Sue (very pleasant!) wanting someone to come out and take a look in order to get a quote.  They stopped by that afternoon to inspect job and provided me a quote an hour later.  They were able to schedule installation on Friday!  Josh (installer) called on Friday a.m. to tell me what time he'd be at my house.  He finished job before mine early and called to see if he could come earlier than scheduled.  He arrived, installed the new door in a timely manner, cleaned up and left. 

I don't have a single complaint about my experience with Custom Door.  I would recommend them highly to anyone.  I initially called a total of 5 garage door companies (all had very high ratings on Angie's List) and ended up receiving 4 quotes for a basic, double, white metal garage door.  3 of the quotes were within $50 of each other...  As my primary concern was the security of the things in my garage, I ended-up deciding upon Custom Door because they were able to schedule my installation the soonest.

One of the cables on our garage door broke over the Fourth of July weekend.  We could not open the door.   I called Custom Door Sales on the morning of July 5th.   Despite being busy from the holiday weekend, they made my call a priority  since I coul not get to work because my car was stranded in the garage.  The technician was at my home by 8:30 a.m. and he quickly fixed the door at a reasonable price. He also replaced the other cable at a minimal charge because he thought it was also worn out.  He was very competent, polite, and professional. I was on my way by 9:30 a.m.
