Craftsmen previously worked on my home and did a wonderful job replacing my hail damaged roof and gutters. I called for an estimate thinking this is the company I wanted to do business with. I was even prepared to spend a reasonable amount extra to go with them. When the salesman came for the window consultation things changed. The salesman was on time and pleasant but definitely lost a sale. He had lots of bad things to say about the competition. While Craftsmen advertises working a wide range of windows the only two the salesman thought were worthwhile were Pella wood and Lindsey vinyl. Sorry, but a little rant. Lindsey might be the best vinyl company in the world, but I have never heard of them and why would I buy them just on the salesman's word? Also, some people simply do not like vinyl and would only choose it if inexpensive. The prices on this vinyl left it in competition with both wood and fiberglass products. Also, if the salesman thinks it is so great he better carry a sample with him. Back to my experience. There were other negatives. I was approaching replacing some casements with gliders. He told us it would be difficult to get the energy rebate with gliders and was unfavorable to that idea. He thought full frame replacement was the best option and once again that runs up the cost. Maybe I was not clear with the salesman. I did leave him some room. He ran with it. Full replacement Pella's. By the time he was done we were at $8500 for four openings. That was a project that was not going to happen. We ended up going with another company that was able to do the project for half the cost using Marvin Infinity inserts. Note: Craftsmen carries the Infinity line.

They did a fantastic job, as I expected after reading all their previous rave reviews here. I also got a second quote from a second top rated Angie's list roofer and they were 16% higher than these guys. First class professional workers. The most thorough cleanup I've ever experienced. They swept the driveway with magnets a couple times per day to make sure they didn't cause any flat tires. The roof looked great and the place was immaculate when they left. The building inspector came today and said the work was first rate and passed code requirements with flying colors.

This company had installed in my whole house beautiful Pella windows a few years ago. They are exceptional, way beyond good. I had a broken window that was my son's fault. It was not a large job, but a pain to me. They ordered, replaced, re-stained, reinstalled. All perfectly. I would never use anybody else for windows and siding and roofing. You won't find a better job performance. It's not an inexpensive job, but raised the value of my house tremendously. I could not be happier. They call you back, show up on time, perform exceptional work. I am not easy to please, believe me.

We had contacted three companies for estimates. We ruled one out right away due to not being responsive. We had considered two companies, but Eric from Craftsmen was just exceptional with working with our insurance company. We were so impressed with him and how he was on the ball with the insurance company that we hired them. There were three installers over the period of three weeks, Tom, Jim, and Dustin. They were very, very experienced with what they were doing. Clean, pleasant, and left parts of our home cleaner than when they came in. When we came home each night, the home was always cleaned. The windows look beautiful!

Everything was excellent, very professional and the job was done quickly and efficiently. All old materials were removed from property and everything was left as it was. They take unbelievable care in protecting and cleaning property. I have not one criticism of the the job they did...it was perfect in every way.

The siding appeared to melt or warp in a south facing corner of the house. I called Dan to report the damage and the next day the replacement material was delivered and the repair was completed the following day. This work was done at no cost to me. Dan handled all contact with Crane and the claim filing. I definitely would recommend Craftsmen Home Improvement. The quality of their initial work was excellent and the service after the sale was top notch.

Craftsmen came out and fixed my problem for free! Working with Dan Bydlon was as pleasant and easy as it was in 2006. We are extremely pleased with the product and service we have received.

Installation started out well and was going quickly. One window turned out to be the wrong size and was reordered. They rescheduled to finish the installation as soon as the window arrived. The installers are fast and thorough, and their clean up is tremendous. Very pleasant and enjoyable to work with. They know what they're doing. This company was on the pricier side of the estimates I received, but the quality of the windows impressed me. Eric found a rebate from the window company, bringing the total price in line with the other estimates.

Craftsmen had excellent communication from start to finish. Our project coordinator kept us up-to-date on the schedule, as well as getting answers to questions. A couple errors on the crew's part were corrected promptly, with no debate, at no additional charge. The crew was very efficient and did an excellent job of cleaning up the yard area. After having prior problems with contractors, including the original installation of the roof (which led to the leaking problems), working with Craftsmen was a pleasant surprise. Highly recommended.

Craftsmen did a very thorough and professional job from start to finish. Everyone I had contact with . . . from Erik who furnished the initial pricing and patiently answered my many questions, to Dan and Joan who provided in-office support after the contract was signed, to Jim and Tom who did the installation . . . were superb. The installers, in particular, arrived when they said they would, worked efficiently as a team, and cleaned up after each work day. Craftsmen made it clear that they aim is to make sure their customers are satisfied and that is what they did.

They were on time, worked hard and followed up on all my requests.

I have used this company many times, and will continue to use them. They do great work & actually cleaned up after themselves.

Someone came out within days. I cannot say enough good about this company. Last year they also replaced some windows and a patio door for us. They are conscientious, responsive, great people to work with--the estimates we have gotten from Dan's company have always seemed very fair and reasonable and I fully trust their work. They clean up after themselves, too. I couldn't be more pleased and enthusiastically recommend Craftsmen whenever possible!

They have exceptional service and workmanship. Everyone that we worked with was friendly, and extremely helpful. They answered questions, and provided helpful suggestions and opinions when asked! The work was done quickly and efficiently. They are extremely concerned with customer satisfaction. They returned several times to make requested changes, no questions asked. The cost was a little higher than some bids, but well worth it.

We finally chose the right company for a job. From the first meeting with the estimator, Jeremy, it was obvious that all this company cared about was making sure that we got exactly what we wanted. After accepting the bid, we were kept informed constantly regarding who, what ,when, why and how things were going to proceed. The work crew knew their job and completed things on schedule. The few minor glitches that always occur on a big remodel were dealt with immediately and to our complete satisfaction. We are very happy that we hired Craftsman Home Improvements. The guys at Craftsmen did an excellent job. They matched the interior stain perfectly. They showed up on time. Each day when they left the job site it was as clean - or even cleaner - than it had been when they arrived - there was no sawdust, tools or debris laying around in the house or in the yard. The guys even did a fantastic job working around the landscaping outside so the plants growing under the windows wouldn't be damaged. The windows are GORGEOUS and I'm so pleased with the work that was done.

Dan is always a pleasure to deal with, and really cares about customer service!

They were punctual, careful and respectful of our home. They carefully draped everything everday to make sure our furnishings would not get dusty from their work. They arrived at the time they gave us every day. The windows and craftsmenship are wonderful. We are now hiring them to do the residing of our home. We would highly recommend this company and truly feel that they are making a valiant effort to go above and beyond your expectations.

Craftsman was very responsive from the initial quote all the way through the installation. They met deadlines and completed the work in a very professional manner. They were very diligent in keeping any dust and dirt to a minimum and cleaning up after themselves. The windows and woodwork look great with the existing trim in the house. All of team members who worked on the job communicated well with each other and with me in completing the job. This job qualified for the energy tax credit and they assisted in preparing rebate paperwork that made it very easy to complete and submit. We are very happy with the project outcome.

His price was comparable to the other bids I had received. He was very responsive and punctual. I may use him again in the future.

They were very good at communicating, they had a very professional crew, the salesperson was a quality person, and nothing was phony. I was satisfied because they cleaned up well and they were respectful. As we get closer to replacing our windows, I will approach them.
