Clifford The Carpet Cleaner

Cliff does an excellent job. Our decades old carpet stays looking nearly new with his cleaning services. He is prompt and thorough. We have been using him for many years. Would highly recommend.

I'm very happy with the entire experience! When I made the appointment the woman who answered the phone said Clifford didn't usually work on Saturdays, but they wanted to accommodate their customers' schedules so it was no problem. She said it would take about 4 hours and that he'd move the heavy stuff, but I'd need to move lamps and small items. He arrived on time and was courteous. I walked him through my home and then he gave me a detailed price breakdown so I could approve it ahead of time. No surprises! I requested Scotchguarding, but he said the type of carpet I have wasn't very absorptive and I shouldn't bother. I appreciate his honesty! The whole project took him 3.5 hours and he was able to get some spots out of the carpets completely and others were improved by at least 50%. I was disappointed there was a trip charge, as I wasn't just asking for an estimate on stain removal. Although the price was on the high end, I think you get what you pay for and I'll definitely use him again.

The good parts -- Clifford called the night before to confirm the time, and arrived when he said he would. He was fast, efficient, and thorough. 
The not-so-good part -- it's been 22 hours and the carpet is still damp, enough so that I'm leaving the chairs, etc. piled on the bed rather than putting them in their places. 
Would I use him again? Yes, but I'd arrange to be out of town for a day or so afterward, to allow drying time. 

We'd just bought a house that had been vacant a while & prior to that it housed a family with 10 children & a dog.  The carpets needed some love, & that's just what they got.  Couldn't have asked for better.  Professional & down to earth.  No up-sell push which was a big deal for me.  I felt their quote was very transparent & reasonable, I knew exactly what would be happening and how much that would cost before Cliff arrived.  I plan to continue to use Cliff as my go-to carpet cleaning guy for ongoing maintenance & have no hesitation recommending him.  

The carpeting looks 100 percent better, and the chair looks like it is brand new.

Been using Clifford for about 14 years now. I'm amazed every time he is out to clean. Most the time I don't think the carpet will clean up and that I will have to replace it, but it looks brand new when he is done. The best part is the carpet is totally dry in hours. Always on time which is important with my schedule.

They work so hard, sometimes they do it on Sunday. He will move the furniture around so that we don't take it out and he will put things underneath so that the carpet will dry. He gives me a window time.

Cliff does a wonderful job cleaning carpets.  His wife helps him by setting up his appointments and she is absolutely so sweet.  Couldn't ask for better customer service.  Cliff comes out on time, is very thorough at what he does, and I find the price to be very reasonable.  I will always call Cliff first for any carpet cleaning jobs.  If you want clean carpets and great service, Cliff is the guy to call.

The experience was great, I couldn't have expected better.  Clifford himself actually showed up to perform the service. It went smoothly, he wore booties, and his equipment was clean. He was friendly and professional.  He even cleaned a runner for me that I had tried to clean myself, and it was cleaned just like the commercials you see on TV where the carpet looks brand new like magic.  We were really impressed.

An appointment was set up 5 days before Cliff's arrival to clean the carpeting in our home.  The scheduler was very polite and thorough in explainiing the cleaning process to be used.  Cliff called me a half hour before our designated time to let me know he was on the way.  We discussed what furniture needed to be move vs not moved and an hour later he was done.  He gave me instructions on how long the carpeting would take to dry before he left.  The carpet looks great.  Most of it dried in two hours time so we were able to walk on it (with tennis shoes).

The experience with Clifford and Elizabeth was fabulous!  From the start, Elizabeth was friendly, asked great questions, and educated me on the process Clifford would use prior to coming out.  Elizabeth provided an esitmated cost of the service and explained what would could potentially change the final cost after Clifford did the actual walk through.  As promised, Clifford contacted me approximately 30 minutes prior to arriving, and arrived within the scheduled time frame.  He explained what steps he would take to clean the overall area and what specific steps he would take to address the pet stains.  When I came home from work that evening, the carpets looked amazing and no more horrible cat urine smell!!!  Not only that, but the overall final cost was less than the original estimate.  I will absolutely use and recommend this company again!

Great!!!!  Timely, pleasant, focused on the job.  Worked well with another service provider who had to come back in unexpectedly.  Did some extra spots on another sofa  that I hadn't noticed, cleaned two small area rugs.  Will call him again.

This was my first experience with Clifford and won't be my last.  They were courteous on the phone, very prompt, and did the best job I could have ever expected.  My carpets/rugs are cleaner than they have ever been, and still smell fresh! The cost was in line with other pricing I received from their competitors even with the $25 travel charge. I am very satisfied and will not hesitate to refer them to others in the future. Thanks to Angie's List, I wouldn't have found them on my own - it was heck of a good lead!

Everything was exactly as we expected. Service was performed in about one hour and provided instructions on when and how long the carpet would take to completely dry. He payed special attention to locate and remove the pet stain.

They were able to squeeze us in on very short notice. Clif was prompt and quick.
Unfortunately one pet stain didn't come out, but I understand there are so many variables at play.
It was a big dog. 
I would use them again in the future.

This independent cleaner showed up ready to  do a real professional job. We enjoyed the calm and secure way he both bid and
explained the way things had to be done but was very careful with and around everything he did.
I suppose we could have spent less but our experience has been we got what we paid for and most times less.
He made us feel like he was cleaning his own carpet and couch not just another job.
He also helped us to understand how he was different from the very popular
and well advertised national carpet cleaner with the Z.
The finished result was more than enough proof.

Making the appointment was simple and easy. Clifford arrived on time, after giving me a call that he was on his way. He was friendly and professional. No one has ever done such a good job of cleaning my carpet. Clifford got out spots that other companies left behind.

I have two dogs and I am getting a new dog, so I asked Clifford to saturate my carpets so that the new puppy would not smell any of the dogs' accidents. So, he had to use double of everything to neutralize the carpets. I liked the friendliness of his wife when I called his office; professional and yet friendly. When he came, he was very non-intrusive; he came in and got the work done.

My carpet had not been cleaned in years and was looking very drab.  Clifford was on time and very polite.  He gave me a price that was almost exactly what was quoted on the phone based on my description of the job.  Clifford was very efficient.  He got right to work and did not stop until the big job was done.  It looks fabulous and there is no residue!  Everything went as well as it could have from booking the appointment (Elizabeth on the phone is great) to the actual appointment, to the follow up instructions about how long until the carpet was dry, etc.  It was a pleasure to have such a good experience.  Clifford The Carpet Cleaner is a wonderful example of how a service company should work.  I will defintely be calling him for my future cleaning needs.

I pointed out a stain that was on the carpet when I moved in and that the last carpet cleaner was unable to remove. It's all but gone. And the rest of the carpet looks beautiful. He was neat, thorough, and fast.

Clifford arrived promptly and set to work.  He was friendly and easy to talk with, but he focused on the job and allowed me to continue with my own work.  I have had my carpets cleaned annually by another company (NOT recommended on Angie's List), and I can honestly say that our aging carpets now look better than they have in years.

.Selected Clifford thru Angies List: not very far from our house, good ratings on List..Called for appointment,spoke to his wife, Elizabeth(very pleasant and courteous)..Set and confirmed for 05/10/12, approx 9 AM...Clifford came ON TIME, explained the entire process,moved some furniture, and did his job.  The work was done thoroughly and very professionally..He kept my husband and me appraised continually as to what he was doing(we are non-helpful seniors)..The carpeting had not been cleaned for awhile and was "spotty".  . Clifford did a magnificent job,cleaned up after the work:tools, hoses, etc....I would not hesitate to call him again.I am giving him an A++.
