CLEAN N PRESS

My husband took the pants out of the plastic, put them on and noticed pink stains on the cuff. I took them back to Clean n Press. The woman working there said that she'd send them back to be recleaned, but that I shouldn't hold my breath to get a claim paid. She told me that she had her own sweater ruined at the plant and that they refused to pay her claim. After a re-clean, the pants were still stained. I filled out the form. The store manager called me to say se'd talked to the plant and they don't claim that the stain was made there. I said that it wasn't done here either. She said it'd be unethical to pay a claim when they think they didn't damage the pants. They basically called me a liar and thanked me for my business. What ever happened to "the customer is always right?" A few years ago, we started getting cleaned shirts from other customers. We stopped sending shirts to be cleaned at Clean N Press. We had been sending clothes to this location for over 10 years. The quality of the cleaning, ironing and service has been on a steady decline over the past 2-3 years. The prices, however, have been on a steady increase. Perhaps they've hired less experienced staff to save a few bucks. Well, they lost our business.

No explanation for the terrible job they did and no offer to make it right.

They are very friendly when I go there to drop off the clothes. You have to pay in advance. They try to have the clothes done when they said they would.

Terrible experience! Teenagers are (barely) running the store and when they lost an $88 pair of Banana Republic pants, they did nothing about it other than saying, "we'll continue to look for your pants."
