CLARK SMITH CONSTRUCTION

Clark responded quickly to my request for a bid. His bid was slightly higher than the other two I received, but it was more complete and professional in appearance. I asked that the work be completed ASAP because of an urgent need to take in another member of my family. He estimated approximately 6 weeks to complete the work. (Clark has a reputation for working only 1-2 projects at a time). The work was completed on budget and on time. From start to finish, it was the easiest most problem-free project I've ever done. He and his crew would always let me know when they would arrive. They were always on time. THe subcontractors were quiet, courteous, and highly efficient. They cleaned up at the end of each day. At one point in the middle of the construction I was called out of town on an emergency and was gone for almost 2 weeks. I left completely confident that I could trust Clark and his crew in my absence. Clark carefully monitors the work of his contractors, most of whom he has worked with for years. He was here at some point every day. While I was gone, he even watered the plants for me! I just love my new second floor! The workmanship is high quality and beautiful. Clark did much of the finishing construction himself (closets and cabinets). To summarize, I would highly recommend this contractor. Clark is a master craftsman. He is completely dependable and a delight to work with.

He works one project at a time so he's always focused. He's worked on older homes with engineering problems and pointed those out to us so we could get them fixed. He's got a web site with pictures of my remodel on it! He's very professional, and we'll keep working with him.
