Cedar Creek Energy

Cedar Creek was great to work with from the quotation stage, to the Made in MN rebate application process, to the installation and commissioning process.  I am pleased with the look and the quality of the installation. They have been very open to answer all of my questions.  It's been producing power for just over a week and it's performing as expected.

They got the bid into the state of Minnesota before the deadline and I because of this I am eligible for the made in Minnesota solar rebate program. The panels haven't gone in yet but so far they have been punctual and professional. They were the only company of the 4 I contacted to act so quickly to get my bid in for this program and I am grateful for that. When the panels are installed, I will update this review.

Overall, it went well. In January and February, we worked on putting together a design which would qualify for the State of Minnesota Solar Incentive. In April, after my proposal was selected by the State, Ceder Creek Energy placed the order with the Solar Array manufacturer and we finalized the design. This included adding in a new service panel and EVSE for my BEV. When the Solar Array manufacturer delivered the equipment, Cedar Creek Energy promptly went on installing it in July, which took 3 days to complete. My concern, when they did the install, is that the people doing the install had a number of questions which I believe Cedar Creek should have had answered before they came, and this took up the first part of the 1st day. They also seemed to struggle with how to handle some of the more complex runs of wires as well. Once we worked through those issues, they went ahead and did the installation. However, they had to come back the next week to finish some and quot;touch-upand quot; work as they missed installing the end-caps on the rails. After the Solar Array was installed, Cedar Creek got the electrical inspector out and finished the inspection. Cedar Creek and I then spent the next 8 weeks working with my electrical company for the interconnection and meters. This is where they seemed to struggle the most, as the electrical company (which they have worked with before) seemed to have a new set of requirements for the paperwork. That whole process took 7 weeks. Once that was completed, and I signed all the paperwork, Cedar Creek Energy met with my electrical company for the installation of the meter, which went well. They are now finalizing the paperwork with the State of Minnesota Solar Incentive program.

They were good and they did the job easily. They upgraded me to a 100 panel box to a 200 panel box. They were very reasonably priced. The electrician was very good and showed up at a timely fashion. I would definitely recommend them. They got the entire job done in about 3 weeks. The cleanup was fine.

It was a good experience. I liked them and I thought that they were really good. They were very responsive and I would use them again.

They were knowledgable.

They did great work. They have been wonderful. I had been working with another company that went bankrupt in the middle of the process, and Metro was able to come in and save me. I feel very positive about them and it was a good experience. They have been both professional and personal.
