THE WORK STARTED OK W/ THIS CONTRACTOR, BUT SOON WENT DOWNHILL FOR A VARIETY OF REASONS. FOR EXAMPLE, JOHNSON STARTED COMING OUT TO WORK ON OUR PROJECT AT 5:00 PM AT NIGHT FOR A COUPLE OF HOURS AT A TIME, WHICH PROVED TO BE VERY DISRUPTIVE FOR OUR FAMILY. HE EVEN BROUGHT HIS DOGS W/ HIM ON ONE OCCASION. WE TOLERATED THE UNIQUE TIMING OF HIS WORK AS 1) WE NEEDED TO GET THE PROJECT DONE AS WE WERE EXPECTING A BABY IN EARLY 6/01, AND 2) HE WAS THE 2ND CONTRACTOR ON THE PROJECT. WE ALSO FOUND MR. JOHNSON'S MANNER TO BE VERY ABRASIVE AND RUDE TOWARDS THE END. LASTLY, THE SHOWERHEAD LEAKED AFTER THE JOB WAS COMPLETED, AND MR. JOHNSON REFUSED TO FIX IT.
Description of Work: HIRED TO COMPLETE A BATHROOM REMODEL PROJECT THAT ANOTHER CONTRACTOR HAD STARTED. THE PROJECT CONSISTED OF FINISHING THE FLOOR, TILING, ADDING 'MARBLE' AROUND THE TUB, AND INSTALLATION OF A NEW WINDOW, TOILET, AND VANITY. THE PROJECT STARTED IN APRIL AND ENDED IN EARLY JUNE 2001. WE WERE NOT PLEASED WITH THE WORK DONE BY THIS COMPANY.
