BURNET TITLE

My expirence with Burnet Title was less then acceptable for the amount of money they are getting paid. I had 2 main issues. First I wasnt informed that I couldnt have work started on my new home untill i recieved a "phone call" they said it would be the following day... Still waiting.. This is an issue when your spending 13k on a contractor who needs to start asap. Next they didnt inform me that I may have to wait hours for my checks to be cut. "It's a bank owened properity it may take longer" They were not willing to have them couriered but asked I come back to the office which is located 20 miles from anything. Advice to Burnet Title to improove relationship with customers: -Send a letter that a human actually writes informing the client the situation on the closing, the phone call, the check delay etc. -Explain in a respectfull mannor that your client should sign full legal name, rather then threatening them that if they dont sign properly they may have to drive 50 miles back to their office to resign.

I am on the third go-round of paperwork corrections regarding the closing of my home. Almost two months after the fact, my deed has still not been filed for recording. The most recent do-over required my wife and I to go to our bank for notary services, and took about an hour of our time. One would think that they would know how to get the paper work correct as a matter of routine, but in my case it wasn't so.
