I had bought an old house that was underwired, and weirdly wired to boot, so I had quite a wish list to present to Dan.  He went through the house thoroughly and came up with an orderly, itemized bid.  Dan apprised me well of my options, and was prompt and thorough in his work.  As I was in the midst of remodeling, I intended to do the finishing touches on a few items myself.  Dan gave me good advice on this, and a heads up as to what to expect from the inspector.  (Who spoke well of Dan, by the way).  When I was finally ready for the final inspection, which was the better part of a year after his work, Dan got it set up promptly.  If you want to work with a small, owner-operated business, Dan is your go-to guy.

working with dan was an awesome experience. He was always prompt in getting back to us and fitting us into his schedule in a very short time frame. He was extremely informative and knowledgable. He always did exactly what he said he would - there were no surprises. He is now our go-to electrician and we plan to have him back to install our lighting, outlets, switches and alarms after our drywall installation. Above all, dan is an honest and ethical contractor and a good angies list find! We have, and will continue to, recommend him to others!

Burke Electric provided very high quality work showing great attention to detail and safety (important factors I look for) and delivered within the range of our agreed upon schedule and costs.
