Buck Bros did an outstanding job. Much effort was put in to making our new room feel like it had always been there. Every detail matched our existing home, inside & out, Ron, the carpenter, was an “artist” who put great care into building. Joe, our project manager, was always willing to come over and carefully explain the work, making this a positive experience! We love our room!

If you have an older home definitely hire Buck Brothers Construction.  They know how to work on older homes.  Their workmanship and quality are outstanding.  What I appreciate most is how they stand behind their work and their particular attention to detail!  It was a pleasure working with Buck Brother?s staff and their sub-contractors.  The sub-contractors were professional and fun to work with.  In a complex restoration of this magnitude problems did occur, but Buck Brothers met all the challenges that were presented.  We are exceedingly happy with the remodel and would definitely use Buck Brothers again.      
Our 115-year old kitchen was in need of a total remodel due to age and other remodeling efforts that were done poorly in the past.  The kitchen was gutted down to the studs which revealed structural problems that were caused by a previous remodel.  Buck Brothers addressed this issue with flying colors and the lead carpenter was amazing in fixing the structural problem and all other aspects of rebuilding the kitchen.  The cost of the project was higher than we anticipated but the final outcome was worth it and we definitely got our monies worth.     
It is hard to single out the most valuable sub-contractor; they were all top notch but I have to give special thanks to Tracy the project manager, Scott the carpenter,  D&B Custom Woods ( beautiful cabinets and right on miter cuts), Paramount Granite (great quality and excellent installation).  I must add that the electrician, plumber and heating contractors had their work cut out for them.  The painters were meticulous, respectful, and very helpful with color selection and fun to work with.

We are very pleased with the result of the remodeling.  The main bath of our 88 year old home had not been greatly changed since the house was built, and there was much plumbing and electrical work to be done.  Buck Brothers worked with us to design a much better layout for the room, and helped to modernize it while still keeping elements that made it fit with the design of the rest of the house.  The subcontractors were all skilled and pleasant, and Tracy our project manager kept me up to date, answered all questions promptly, and helped with the choices I needed to make.  We would be glad to work with Buck Brothers again!

Before work started, Tracy, the project manager, gave me a schedule of what would be done when.
The kitchen was totally gutted down to the studs.
New wiring was installed, the heating vent moved, an exhaust fan venting thru the roof installed, insulation added to the walls, all new cabinets and marmoleum click flooring installed 
Tracy stopped by every day to check on things and keep me updated on the progress. She was great to work with.
They have very good subcontractors. The area was cleaned up every day.

The service went well. There were different crews out for different parts of the project. They completed the job in about 2 months. We had to wait on the tile to be delivered. They were all very professional and punctual. I was very happy with the final product. They did a good job cleaning up after the project and I had no problem scheduling the service.

After living with the original and only bathroom in a 1914 Craftsman style home with a cracked and sagging floor, low water pressure for 20 years, we finally started looking for a contractor to help renovate the bathroom.
I knew that the floor and plumbing were going to be an issue, and interviewed three different contractors after reviewing them on Angies List and the BBB.  Owner Joe Buck came out to view the project, and immediately requested that he bring out his plumbing expert as he could see the same concerns that I had,
Joe was able to put together a proposal and design with my intention looking back from the completed project that the bath looked like it had always been a part of our home.
The 8 week project was exactly on schedule for 99% of the work.  The quality and craftsmanship are amazing, and we could not be more pleased with the end result.
Joe and his project manager Tracy communicated well and often, we were kept appraised of the status throughout the entire project and we knew we had a team taking good care of our home.
Thank you to the entire team that helped turn the worst room in our home to one of the best!

Bob Buck and all the people who work for Buck Brothers were knowledgeable, professional and punctual.  The original plan that we came up with wasn't going to work, but the project foreman, Joey, came up with an even better one.  There were some delays due to weather that were beyond their control, but past that the project was on schedule.  The electrician, carpenter, roofer and painters were all excellent.

 We would definitely hire them again.

Contacted Buck Brothers construction for a bid to remodel our 3rd floor bath.  We tore it down to the studs, built a ceramic tile shower (frame-less glass enclosures), hex tile floor with supplemental radiant electric floor heat, double vanity with cambria top, and linen closet.  They were professional, responsive, punctual, and great to work with. We ended up choosing a different building who was approximately $5K less expensive.  I would certainly call Buck Brothers again and wouldn't hesitate to use them.

We are extremely happy with the remodel. We have an old house (102 years old) and the bathroom had some awkward architectural aspects to it. It was a rather awful little room; we suspect that previous owners had done a lot of DIY work. It was inconveniently organized and ugly. Buck Bros. came up with a neat new design that turned some of the architectural challenges into appealing features, and installed a large shower next to a large frosted window, as well as in-floor heating and custom cabinetry. With new tiles, lighting, and mirrors, it is a beautiful little room.
We enjoyed working with the people of Buck Brothers. They kept to their schedule and communicated well throughout the project.

They were very prompt, very professional and quite responsive. Bob Buck and his company specialize in renovations in houses in the twin cities, St. Paul & South Minneapolis mostly. Their experience in this was evident in their knowledge of what to expect and how to work well with our house.  (1938 Tudor style.) Our site supervisor Tracy was great and kept us well informed. 
All the subs were good to work with. We did have a bit of trouble with painting in kitchen where we specified a brand & type sub-contracter wasn't used too. They did a good job responding to correct some defects. 
We are very pleased with our new kitchen and we would happily use Buck Brothers again for any future project! 

The project exceeded my expectations. My kitchen had green linoleum, metal cabinets, and a crumbling ceiling from the 60s. I worked with Joe Buck. He was very responsive, gave lots of options, open to feedback and suggestion, and great at problem solving. I selected Buck Brothers based on their reviews on this site, their experience with green building, and their pricing. Joe was very good at working different scenarios of what we could do within my budget.

Once the project started, it went very quickly. Every day there was someone here working on the kitchen. The sub-contractors were scheduled well so there were no hang ups or long periods of time when no work was going on. Joe and his crew provided excellent communication, Joe called almost everyday to tell me what progress had been made, if any problems were found and what was coming up next.  Of course, when you open up the walls of a hundred year old house you find some surprises. Joe kept on top of the budget and the cost of change orders.

The crew and sub-contractors were very professional. My husband works nights and they were very respectful to work without music in the early morning and keeping sound down as much as possible. They were also very organized and kept the space very clean.

I put off remodeling the kitchen for so many years because of all the horror stories I had heard about working with contractors, but my project was a great experience. I would definitely hire Buck Brothers again. I love my new kitchen!

Bob Buck was very good with all communication about the process.  He was upfront about all the costs and very responsive to all of my change requests as I made many.  The final product looks great.   The wrong bathroom vanity top came in and he ordered the correct one without question.  Overall, very satisfied with the work that was done.

All went smoothly.  Buck Brothers scheduling was on target and all sub contractors were competent and nice to work with.

Working with Bob Buck on this project as a good experience.  I appreciated that he was willing to take on a small project in an older home.  Everything happened as explained and on time.  He was both professional and collaborative.  We will call on them in the future for any of our bathroom and kitchen remodel needs.

They were very customer centric, and flexible with our schedules. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

The Bucks are extremely good to work with. Their prices are not cheap, but they do first-rate work and they're worth every penny. They worked with us to find solutions for a number of large and small design issues, and their solutions worked -- in the three years since the new catwalk was installed, we've had no leaks.

They provided excellent service and they are good. I would recommend them to others.

They first worked on my house 12-15 years ago. They did a complete remodel on the 2nd floor and that included adding a walk in closet in the master bedroom, adding a 3/4 bath that needed them to add a dormer too. They also did a complete remodel on my kitchen too about 9-10 years ago. I would not have anyone else work on my home. They are fair and treat their employees fair. They came highly recommended the first time I used them and I have stuck with them on every project I have done for my home. I highly recommend them.

Buck Brothers Construction is very friendly and they were very concerned about the character and integrity of my house. They are very good with wood work and I was pleased with their services. They were responsive and very punctual.

It was outstanding because they delivered everything they said they would when they said they would with very minimal inconvenience to the household. They went out of their for us. They were polite and punctual. They cleaned the site up every day. When they encountered uncertain aspects of the house they gave us options and alternatives. They were the best I have ever seen.
