"We believe we’ve attempted to cooperate with the client within all reasonable limits. Due to a minor crack, we replaced the slab without any additional charges at all. This slab came from the same piece of granite as the rest of the kitchen, but this is all natural stone and we cannot be responsible for inconsistency in color. Yet, we still offered to provide the labor at our expense if the customer would like to purchase a new stone, which is obviously at a financial loss to us. Furthermore, the client had previously contacted the Better Business Bureau, who closed the case because they felt that our offer was reasonable, but that the customer was unwilling to cooperate. All other complaints were never mentioned before and when we spoke with them right after the second installation, they seemed happy about the rest of the work other than the discoloration, which, again, we explained happens with natural stone.
