Mr. Schabell and his two associates, Patrice and Jennifer, did a fabulous job of coming up with just the right color to coordinate with furniture and drapery material in my living room. Mr. Schabell came back several times with different "boards" of treatment examples and colors in order to get just the right shade required. His patience and willingness throughout all this was amazing! The living room and stairwell was done in just three days with three different colors in the faux mix and it coordinates beautifully. In addition, you cannot tell which of the three painters painted which wall or section, it all blends perfectly. The dining room treatment is fabulous. Mr. Schabell invented an original design that coordinated with the drapery design and hand painted (not stenciled) the design on all four walls of the dining room, this was then "washed" with two different paint treatments and it looks amazing. The result is stunning! It looks somewhat like high end textured wallpaper without seams. He also gave me a source for real plaster moldings (as opposed to resin versions) for my dining room ceiling which he then installed and painted. He also painted a coordinating design in the four corners of my barrel vaulted foyer ceiling and somehow managed to "feather" the paint in towards the center of the vault on all sides. My living room, dining room and foyer actually look like rooms from an old European villa or palace. Mr. Shabell and his painters also converted a natural cherry finished china cabinet into a white enameled masterpiece with a textured gold metallic faux background behind the glass doors. When the lights go on in that cabinet with all the glassware, it is just beautiful! In addition, Mr. Shabell and his associates were just a joy to have in the house for the several days they were painting. They were very professional, considerate, clean, and very hard working. They arrived at 9 and left at 4 and painted continuously, which from my own experience I can tell you, is no small feat. My husband and I are absolutely delighted with his innovative, original and uniquely artistic work and highly recommend him, Patrice and Jennifer for any paint or wall covering project. We will certainly use Mr. Schabell's services again when needed.
