Very well. They were prompt, friendly, knew what they were doing, explained to me what was needed and why, cleaned up after themselves.

We are readying a house to put on the market and needed someone willing to climb on our high steeply pitched roof to replace a few shingles-they were out in a flash and completed the work promptly and for a very reasonable price! He also gave us an idea of much life was left in the existing roof which hopefully will be appreciated by any new buyers.

Bob matched our unusual shingle color. They were prompt each day.  All the crew were friendly to have around.  They cleaned up our yard and the driveway well.  This is the 2nd  time we have used them.

They were very punctual. They did the estimate and didn't go over. The quality was good.  There was a problem with the inspector and they came out and fixed it right away.

The job went very well. Bob and his sons and one other worker were great to deal with. They worked diligently and efficiently, were neat and careful about cleaning up debris, were respectful of foundation plantings, were courteous and just generally nice to have around. One of the sons even suggested a different color for the roof and he was absolutely right. I'm really glad I took his advise. Love the new color.

All went well. My only complaint would be that he came in with wet and dirty shoes.

We had a very good experience with Bob and Son's Roofing. They were prompt in coming over to look at the job and provide an estimate. They completed the job and it looks great! Best of all, it held up and didn't leak a drop during the heavy rains/storms of 6/22 - 6/23. The crew was polite, professional, and cleaned up well when it was complete. I would definitely use Bob and Son's again.

Our roof suffered hail damage and Bob and Sons had done work for two neighbors, so we could see the quality of their work and get our neighbors' recommendations. They were very responsive with an estimate, were competitive, and did the work in three days. They were quiet (ok, roofing is never quiet, but no rock radio, etc), friendly, and they simply did the job well. They use hammer and nails instead of nail guns. The shingles look great and have a lifetime warranty. When we, um, spilled a little Kilz on several shingles while painting trim a few weeks later, they came by and replaced them and "forgot" to bill us for their time. The only extra work for us was scanning the area for roofing nails. We found quite a few, then used a strong magnet and found quite a few more; but we never found any the hard way by stepping on them. They're probably the best contractor we ever had.

After we found a large starling nest in the unfinished attic of our two story house, Bob and Sons quoted $250 to put in five bird-proof vents. They were professional and pleasant to deal with. When they discovered the vents WERE already bird-proof (and that there were seven, not five, but that's probably more an embarassment to the homeowner than is germane to this report...) and that the nest had probably been in place since the reroofing five years ago, they carefully checked for other possible entry points and found none. Also, they noticed that the dryer vent "flap" was filled with lint and open. A fire hazard that left the house open to cold air. They spent about 20 minutes, and the requested $50 payment didn't seem like enough for two guys' time and good effort so we paid them a little more.

Bob and Sons is great to work with. I got Bob's name from my realtor who has used them in the past. Bob came out and gave me an estimate within a day of my call; the team was working on my roof 10 days later. They were highly professional, always friendly. The day after the work was done, you'd never have known they were there (except for the new roof of course). They left no trace. In the weeks since, I've only found ONE roofing nail in the yard. That's amazing.

Great price, great workmanship, and an all around great experience.

Bob and Sons called and came right away. They removed ice dams and prevented further interior damage while scoping the repairs that would be needed to avoid the trouble again

Overall it went very well. It is a family run business so there were no subs and the same guys showed up every day. It was like something out of a really strange movie. They put some flashing up on my front porch the first day there were there and it was the wrong color. It was an off green color for about two feet and it should have been cream colored. They left it up the whole time they were working and I had them remove it when they were finished. They had done such a nice job but it didn't look good with that wrong color. The father runs the place. They did a wonderful job. They used hammers and nails; they don't use staple guns. The stuff is really fine quality. They were really careful about everything and made sure they didn't damage any of my floral. Everything was in tact. Their craftsmanship was quality and they took their time cleaning up. They did a really, really nice job. It took a couple of days longer because they did the hammer and nail thing, which you don’t find anymore.

We had water damage in our dining room due to rain coming in through our chimney. The house is very old and we had gotten an estimate from another company who said we would need to rebuild the whole stack for $1700. Since the house will most likely be a tear down some time in the next 10 years, we didn't want to go all-out. Bob & Sons repaired the flashing and built a cap for the chimney to the tune of $450. They were prompt, flexible, friendly and quick. The repairs came in as estimated.

It is a small family run business. As the name states it is just Bob and his sons. They were very conscientious throughout the project and they knew how things needed to be done. They did a lot of the work by hand, rather than using nail guns. They were just A's all across the board.

We got three estimates for the work we needed done to our house. Bob entered the lowest bid by about 4,000. He and his crew (yes, including two of his sons) came by on a Monday or Tuesday to start the work and were finished by Friday. They did a great job and cleaned up after themselves (including with a magnet to pick up hidden nails). The knee wall they built in the attic to reinforce the dormer is functional but just framed, not finished, which is what I expected.
