Bob's Treadmill Repair

His initial assessment was swift & thorough. He said we'd need a motor replaced at the least. He encouraged me to contact Nordic Track directly. Dealing with Nordic Track was lengthy (long phone wait on hold) but they honored the warranty for parts. Said the motor wasn't in stock but then the same day they sent an email saying a motor had been shipped. Bob showed up a few days later and put it all together, with some helpful advice as to use. Charged his basic labor fee. He is REALLY a professional and knows his subject. Hope we don't need treadmill repairs again but we'll call Bob if we do. By the way this treadmill was bought at Sears some years ago but they don't carry or service this brand any more.

Bob is quick and efficient. He diagnosed the problem right away and replaced the worn belt and told me what to anticipate down the road with my particular unit.

Bob called me before my appointment to let me know exactly when he would be there, and he was right on time. He found the problem right away. Parts were not available, so he made at least the treadmill part work for me for just the price of the service call. He also showed me what to do if it stopped again. Bob was very easy to understand and talk with. Clearly his only agenda was to satisfy his customer. He did not make any mess and was in and out quickly and efficiently.

I would totally recommend having him come work on your treadmill. So glad I did so I could get back to exercising.

Bob was friendly and provided excellent service in a timely manner. He could have sold me new expensive stuff, but offered other lower price options so I could decide how much I wanted to spend. He was out to help me, not just pick my pockets. I would call on him again and suggest he be called for anyone who requires treadmill care.

Bob was able to repair all our exercise equipment. He helped keep our old treadmill's running so we didn't have to purchase new ones!

Our elliptical machine had been making annoying noises after 8 years of use so we finally looked into getting it serviced. We decided to call Bob after reading other reviews. Even though Bob is a one-man-show he called me back within a few hours during the week after new year's. We set up the appointment time via text and he called before showing up at the house. He was able to lubricate and tighten our elliptical until it sounded as good as new and gave us advise on future maintenance. Well worth the $75 cost. I plan to call Bob again if we have any problems in the future.

Bob didn't have anything at that time of year (winter), but went out of his way to give helpful advice.

It was great. We played phone tag for a day then made an appointment. He knows his treadmills. He changed the belt and made some modifications to the thinger that makes the thing you run on move. It works great. I know this machine won't last forever, but now I can run on it for maybe another year or two.

He provided prompt and excellent professional service. He was friendly and knowledgeable about the equipment.

Our 9+ year old treadmill was a little noisier than usual, even though we had done some basic lubrication over the years. We called Bob and made an appointment to have him do some more extensive maintenance. Bob came out and did a very thorough job of cleaning our treadmill and also checked out our elliptical and weight machine to make sure they were operating as they should. He arrived on-time and his service fee is very reasonable and we will definitely call him in the future when we need further maintenance.

Excellent. Bob called before he arrived, came in, quickly got down to business, fixed my treadmill and left. Nice guy, he's not going to try and do anything to cheat you.

He asked me a series of questions and had me perform a couple of diagnostic checks while on the phone, predicted that a particular part had failed. He talked me through the process of ordering another--no easy feat given that the treadmill in question is no longer manufactured--and helped me think through whether it was worth fixing. All of this to save me the expense of two service calls. When the needed part arrived he worked me into his schedule within two days, gave a little bonus attention to a couple of other loose parts while he was at it, and was mindful of the fact that I had to leave for an appointment at a certain time. I would hire him again in a heartbeat.

Bob spent an hour going over all the possible problem parts, and identified that the sensor was beyond his fixing capacity. He recommended a dealer, and did not charge me for his time. Very honorable. Would recommend him to everyone.

Bob was able to help me determine over the phone what parts I needed, saving me a trip and money, I ordered the parts on line because he didn't have the part, and then he came and repaired my treadmill. Bob's experience in repairing treadmills really helped me keep my older treadmill and repair it at a much lower price. Thanks, Bob!

Bob was very helpful. I am looking at a commercial grade treadmill (Life Fitness 95 TI) which he does not service, otherwise I would have hired him.

We tried for hours to figure it out on our own and basically had half the treadmill taken apart. We called Bob, and he was able to not only fix it, but get our treadmill put back together. On top of that, we were moving, and he helped us carry the treadmill to our truck! He went above and beyond and was very affordable.

Bob was extremely friendly and helpful. I e-mailed through angie's list and he contacted me immediately. He asked me some questions to get the background on my problem and asked for the model number so he could look into spare parts for it. He did his due diligence and found out that the spare console for my treadmill was no longer manufactured. He called me back and was completely up front with me about what he realistically could do and what I could try. I really appreciated the honesty and while I didn't actually have him come out to look at the treadmill I would definitely call him if I were in need in the future.
