Bob's Treadmill Repair

He did a great job!!!

Bob clearly knows his stuff and tested multiple things to be sure of the diagnosis of the problem. During his visit he also educated me on some of the inner workings of the treadmill, so that I could understand what he was doing. He got me to a tide-over place until I can obtain a replacement part. I would definitely hire Bob again and recommend him to others.

We had scheduled to meet at my house at 2 pm. I received a text from Bob at 1:30 saying he would be at my house in 30 minutes. Bob arrived on time and I took him to the treadmill. He quickly checked out the treadmill and said he thought the sensor needed replacing. He had one with him and replaced mine. This fixed my problem. Bob also did some tuneups on my treadmill and then had me walk on it to make sure it worked. Highly recommend Bob. He will be my go to guy if I have any issues going forward.

Bob brought his own tools, and made quick work of disassembling my treadmill. He explained the problem thoroughly, showed me what the problem was, and then was replaced a faulty belt with one he had brought with him. Highly recommend Bob. Really nice guy that does quick, quality work.

Great! He called a few days later and offered to come over on his way back from another job, so did not charge for travel. He was here, fixed it in less than an hour. Pleasant to work with, really knows his business. Has tools that the average household would not have on board.

Brilliant. Bob diagnosed the issue in seconds and had it fixed and running in minutes. Bob's incredibly easy to work with; friendly and competent - really knows his stuff. Arrived when he said he would, had parts he thought he might need with him, and worked quickly to finish the job. Would absolutely recommend him for repair of any or all fitness equipment - a true "service" orientation at a very reasonable price.

I had a broken treadmill and when Bob showed up, he discovered that even though my treadmill is old the motor was under warranty and he was able to place the order for a new one on my behalf. He then returned to fix the treadmill and return it to its fine form. Bob is friendly, professional, and he is my go-to guy for when my treadmill breaks.

Perfect! He even said he would come back the next day if I was not satisfied. The belt was not tight enough, and he explained over the phone how I could tighten it on my own. Very happy with the service---not one complaint!

Excellent. You can tell right away the Bob is honest, fair, and cares about his customers. He tells you exactly what he is doing and only fixes what needs to be done. You don't have to worry that he is taking advantage of you or fixing something you don't need fixed like some of the larger companies out there. Refreshing to be able to trust someone and pay a fair amount for the work done. He also gave me advice on what I can do myself on a routine basis to make my treadmill last longer. Will definitely be calling Bob in the future if there is anything that goes wrong with my treadmill.

He cleaned the mechanism. Also connected something or other. Anyway the speed was accurate after his changes. Also the speed started showing on the display. As the treadmill was he gave me advice on buying a new one, but said I should get as much life out of my currect one as possible. Definitely would use again.

Bob diagnosed the problem as a worn belt which resulted in an increased load on the motor. He replaced the belt which solved the problem.

Bob was really nice and on time. He was honest in his diagnosis...which was basically that he couldn't fix it without a new console...which he didn't recommend spending money on since it's such an old machine. He gave me some recommendations and left 10 minutes later. Still charged me $75 for the house call. Honestly, I wish we could've had a conversation over the phone to arrive at the same conclusion to avoid the $75...but oh well. He was knowledgeable and pleasant. I'd hire him again.

He showed on up time. The whole service was about an hour. He let me know about the condition of the machine & gave me tips & info on how to care for it. A very nice guy! I really appreciated his service!!

Bob was right on time and fixed our two treadmills to perfection. Although they were easy fixes (for him) he didn't up charge, went above and beyond and explained everything he did. Also making sure the fixes were up to our standard by having us test them before he left. Absolutely wonderful service at a unbeatable price. Would use again if ever needed. Thanks BOB!!!

Bob pretty much knew what was wrong before he started. The motor that controls the incline feature was broken and needed to be replaced. He checked on line to see if it was still available and it was not. He said if I wanted to use the treadmill without the incline feature he could make it work. I said that was ok with me as I rarely used the incline. He completed the work quickly and the treadmill is working fine and more quietly than before.

I had sent Bob a photo of the motor and electronics area via Angie's list and he was able to determine from that that it was a faulty circuit board. He ordered the part for me and when it arrived called me to set up a time for the repair. He showed up on time and had the repair done in no time. He took the time to educate me on maintaining the machine and how to adjust the track when necessary. The whole experience was great and now I am "off and running" again.
