BLUE RAIN PLUMBING

The sections of galvanized pipe were replaced with copper piping. End result was I now have very good water pressure from the bathroom sink faucets. Graded quality a B instead of an A because I thought work could have been done a little tidier. I ended up hiring someone else to patch the holes in the wall under the sink - but that was basically cosmetic and did not show outside of the cabinet and did not impact the functioning of the plumbing itself.

Scott was great! He responded to our plight of no water immediately. The city had not been able to turn off the water from the street, but by freezing the pipe, he was able to break free the broken valve and replace it. He was honest, pleasant, very reasonably priced. I would use him any time.

Scott arrived promptly and went to work on removing the old drain tube. He had to dig out the dirt a bit so that he could snap off the pipe in a location beyond the outside wall so that the new pipe, which would now have a basement floor level opening (18" higher than the old opening), would be at an optimum angle to allow for drain cleaning equipment. We have since had the sewer drain cleaned out to the street and Scott's installation worked perfectly. 
The concrete mixing was done at the work site in the basement and was cleaned up well after the job.
And, of course, the radon level dropped.

This project was a remodel of a 35 year old basement bathroom that in its life had a couple of cosmetic upgrades by me. The shower was in dire need of replacing and updating. The decision was made to demolish and  start from scratch. Updating and correcting the plumbing was key to how the project would look and function.

He was prompt and quick with the work.  He did good work. 

Great service!  I needed the plumbing fixed on an external spigot that had burst the previous winter.  He was able to work me in the next day (late afternoon on a Friday in the summer...that's dedication!).  He worked fast and got it done in short order. Good work. Professional. Prompt.  Friendly.  Looking forward to using him again the next time I need work done.

Provided estimate the day before, fixed the problem the next day.  Was honest and provided options for what could be done versus what needed to be done. 

Scott Dalby's customer service and quality of work were excellent. Because the job consisted of multiple things, he came to the house to see what I needed and provide a price quote. Other plumbers told me I needed to replace the bathtub faucet, but Scott said he should first try to just replace a washer rather than incur the greater expense. (That worked.) I also asked whether the whole bathroom pedestal sink would need to be removed in order to access to reattach the drain stopper. He just did it on the spot before he even knew I would hire him for the job. I knew at that point that this was the type of plumber I wanted to hire and would trust. He said he would break up the cement laundry tub and dispose of it as well as the shower stall. With other plumbers, I was going to have to take care of that myself. His price was very reasonable. He arrived on time to do the job and did an excellent job cleaning up after having to break up the cement tub in the basement. I have more work to be done in the coming year and he will be the plumber that I call. I highly recommend him.

Quick, efficient, prompt, and good workmanship. A minor problem with the installation surfaced later, which he quickly came out and corrected. I will call him again should I need any more plumbing.
