the plants are Northern grown and of topnotch quality...they were planted promptly and are doing very well

I rate them highly and I will use them again in the future if needed.

A severe thunder storm on a Thursday afternoon blew over a tall shrub and split a large (25 feet tall) crab apple tree. I called the company shortly after the storm was over. They came within an hour, gave me an estimate of $250 on the removal and said the crab apple tree might survive, so should not be removed. Said the work could be done in 3 days. I said OK. Later that day other tree removal contractors were going through the neighborhood. I received 3 other estimates all equal to or higher than Bloomington. They came the next day, rang the door bell to let us know they were working. Cut up and removed everything in two hours of 92 degree heat. I wrote a check. Asked them to get back to us on replacing the shrub but have not heard back.

BLOOMINGTON GARDEN CENTER CAME IN ON SCHEDULE AND DID A THOROUGH JOB. I BELIEVE THEY COULD DO BETTER IN THEIR COMMUNICATION WITH THE CLIENT THOUGH. THEY HAD QUESTIONS, AND I WAS AT WORK, THEY MADE A BEST GUESS AT SOLVING THE PROBLEM THEMSELVES. IN OUR CASE IT WORKED OUT FINE, BUT I THINK THEY SHOULD WORK ON COMMUNICATIONS.

THE DESIGNER, JAN HOUGEN, WAS A GEM. SHE PUT IN MUCH MORE TIME THAN WHAT SHE WAS PAID AND WAS CONSTANTLY KEEPING IN TOUCH. KEEPING US ON TASK AND HAD CONNECTIONS TO OTHER COMPANIES THAT WE NEEDED.
