VERY friendly staff at Bloomington Custom Upholstery. When we arrived, the person named Jan helped us pick out candidate fabric samples first by asking us a number of questions and then, going through samples to come up with some suggestions (this is not the norm for service at other locations that we went to). Then Jan had one of her staff remove the furniture from the car and move it into their shop for the quote (which was about 1/2 the price of another location where we went for a quote (for the same type of fabric)). Four weeks later (we were given an estimate of 4-6 weeks), we had our reupholstered a chair and ottoman. It looks great!!!!

Went to owners house for samples and suggestions. We were looking for a fabric that was cat-resistant and she provided several suggestions. I was able to take the fabric books home and she ordered loose samples of selected fabrics. The furniture was picked up and delivered back to us. It took a little longer than expected but the results were good.

We brought in two chairs initially, so see what the quality of the work would be. The fabric was ordered by the upholsterer after we picked out a swatch. Perfect results. You would never know that these four chairs were bought from different purveyors & of different manufacture. We were very pleased with the workmanship and attention to detail. Do not be put off by disarray in the shop, Zoule is a perfectionist in her work, very pleasant to work with, and willing to go the extra mile. We asked for the first two chairs to be done on short notice due to guests arriving that coming weekend and she was able to fit us into her schedule.
