I was told corrosion was the problem and the service manager, Lee Weisbecker would make a determination of whether the warranty applied. If not, the cost of repair would be $575. I tried unsuccessfully on several occasions to contact Mr. Weisbecker. He had my phone numbers and email address but never contacted me. Before I knew it, the computer was sent back to the store unexpectedly and un-repaired. They must have assumed that I wasn't willing to pay the $575 repair cost. I bought a replacement keyboard through Toshiba for only $56 and replaced it myself. (How did they come up with $575!) I am now using the new keyboard to type this complaint. I then asked for the battery promised in the warranty and showed them my working computer. Unbelievably, they denied that request too. I will never again do business with Comp USA, their subsidiary the TAP group. This company is on the verge of going out of business, closing stores nationwide, so buyer beware.

We have had some problems and they are not very. They are very expensive for repairs.

They were very helpful. When I needed to return an item for a different part, they helped me select what would work for me. Their prices were very good and spent the time I needed to understand what I had to do.

MY EXPERIENCE WAS VERY FAVORABLE. I HAD GOTTEN VERBAL ESTIMATES FROM FOUR OTHER SHOPS TO DO THE WORK RANGING FROM $80-$125. ON THE PHONE, COMP USA SAID IT WOULD COST $30 AND WHEN THE WORK WAS ACTUALLY FINISHED, THE TECH SAID THERE WOULD BE NO CHARGE. IT ONLY TOOK ABOUT 15-20 MINUTES. GOODWILL ABOUNDS, AT LEAST IN THIS DEPARTMENT, AND I HAVE MADE TWO PURCHASES SINCE THEN. THANKS.
