Sadly they installed a garage door opener we loved but have had problems with it now 3 times. This last time I have called and emailed and haven't heard anything in a week. It has broken again. Really disappointed with the product and service.

I got excellent response, pricing, and service from Brian and Dustin at BGL Services. I backed into my garage door when it only opened half way, and my car got stuck inside. Needed fast help to get car out and door fixed. I pulled up Angie’s List and requested info on 4 repair shops. Called and left msg at a couple others, but w/in minutes, Brian at BGL called me back. He was able to get out that day to get the door in it’s track and raised so I could get my car out, but the wood door was broken so it would be unsafe to fix. Brian’s quote of a little over $900 for a new steel door was in line with what my insurance agent suggested. It did take a few days to come back with the door, but my car was in another garage, so time wasn’t critical. Brian gave updates on where the door was and when they could get out. His worker Dustin came out to install door in 0 deg weather - competent and professional. Came back the next day to install door frame molding he didn’t have with him. Finished the job well. I would use them again! Dustin, as a subcontractor for Brian’s general contracting side of the business, was even able to fix a cellar floor joist support after he finished the garage work. Super!

Excellent service

While the door was eventually installed, it took chasing them around to get them to complete it within the timeframe that they committed to. Once it was finally installed, after 5 weeks, I still have the old garage door laying in my yard. They are to take that with them and did not. I found them professional right up until the point that they got their deposit...then it fell off the rails. (the pun is intended)

Even though we did not need same day repair, technicians came that same afternoon. They discovered cables that were about to fail, and door rollers that were dragging. They also readjusted the chain on the opener and lubricated all the joints. In addition, they readjusted the springs so that door would open more easily in case of opener failure for no additional charge. I was very impressed with their service and professionalism.

Very pleased that this service provider made the extra effort to respond and complete the repair on the same day I called. And, my call was made mid afternoon on a day where roads were poor and traffic slow related to previous night snowfall. I'd been concerned about having the door open overnight, or even possibly 3 nights. No new parts or materials were required so the cost was for basic service call. I believe this was more then fair pricing given the same day response.

Brian and Josh were both friendly and professional. Due to some unexpected issues and a holiday weekend it took some time to line up, but they were very accommodating and got the new door on and it works great.

Josh did a very good job in replacing my broken spring and replacing the other as well. Very personable and professional. Provided service on Sunday which I really, really appreciated.

It was great. I have no complaints.

Great service! The team was very helpful, efficient, and provided high quality work. Brian and Josh were both very professional and fixed our garage quickly. Less than 24 hours after we called, they had our garage working again. The price was a bit under a few others we had been quoted. We would definitely recommend and would use BGL again!!

Brian called within mins of being matched and had someone out to fix the door within an hour. It was clear the spring was busted but they still explained the options and went through exactly what was needed. He also pointed out additional items that should be addressed but did not pressure me into doing it. Total job with additional items took about 45 mins and we were back up and running. Excellent service and very professional. I would certainly do business with them again and recommend to others.
