Bayers Do it Best Hardware

They sell everything associated with hardware. They were my neighborhood hardware store and my neighbors recommended them and that's how I came to know about them. They are owner operated and they have knowledge about everything they sell. They can put their hands on most things they sell and tell you how to install and fix it. They also have services, wherein if you have a broken window or a screen and you can take it to them and get it fixed. The thing I like about them is that they are service oriented with knowledgeable people.

Service used to be somewhat hostile here, so I tried to avoid going in much, but recently I needed a piece to repair my toilet and didn't want the hassle of going all the way to a big box store. I'm glad I didn't! Service is now friendly and helpful. I was able to quickly and easily purchase the piece I wanted and have been back several times since for things I would have purchased elsewhere if customer service hadn't improved so much.

A great local hardware store (such a dying breed!), where I know I can walk in knowing only vaguely what I need and the staff will figure out the rest. This time, I ran in in the morning with bolts I needed cut for my daughter's science project (due that day) and they cut them for me. It took about 15 minutes and they charged me $1! Some of their merchandise is relatively expensive compared to the big chains, but supporting stores like this buys something worth far more than a few extra dollars. (And my kids love their free popcorn.)
