Outstanding work. We now have a garage that is no longer sinking, is square, plumb and structurally sound. Tony’s team did a great job with the floor too!

Wonderful. Got a call less than an hour after sending an email asking about service. Garage had a problem with water getting inside during heavy rain as driveway sloped downwards. Day 1: garage was raised 10 inches. Day 2: a new slab, including a new base, and apron were poured to prevent water getting again.

Went perfect, Evert is very unique inspiring elder man. I would not underestimate him cause he was able to lift a old rotting sinking 1957 garage and replace the wood. After that, the concrete was replaced, Tony is a concrete expert and him his son and crew did a absolutely beautiful job on the driveway and garage floor. However, I would suggest a electrician to check lighting etc... wiring to make sure there is some stretch room in the electrical before lifting a very old sunken building to avoid wiring breakage.

Badger was quick to assess, give an estimate and set up the service dates. The whole process lasted 3 days and we were very happy with the results. Tony and his brother (the cement guys) did a great job. All were personable and easy to work with. If your garage is in good to ok shape, but your cement is cracking, etc. this is an economical and good way to go.

Badger lifted garage, replaced rotten sill, re-positioned pitch to improve how water would drain from driveway, He coordinated with my concrete contractor who replaced the floor and drive. Badger was professional, timely and extremely knowledgeable. One of the smoothest home improvement projects I've had done in 40 years of home ownership.

Mr. Evert Boerhave of Badger Inc. came with high recommendations and did not disappoint. He worked alone knowing precisely what should be done. A more skilled, focused, and also polite and friendly garage lifter would be hard to find. Using all the right equipment some of which was devised over time by himself, he worked happily for six hours or so asking for nothing from us but welcoming our occasional interruptions. The four of us observers appreciated his sense of humor! What we anticipated would be a chaotic, tense day turned out to be relaxing and fun.

It went great. My garage was frame was twisting and the doors were not square. I was worried that the garage was going to collapse. Badger straightened the frame of the garage and had my garage door opener adjusted to match the straightened opening. I'm very happy with Badger's work. I don't get nervous anymore when there are a couple of feet of snow on the garage.

My garage was tilting to one side, and the crack down the middle of the concrete floor had gotten wider in the last 25 years. Without realizing it, I was restricting weight loads and otherwise limiting my use of the garage because of the tilt and crack. Then a leak in the much-patched roof demanded attention, and I was forced to decide whether to fix up the old garage or tear it down and build a new one. Sentimentality and financials made fixing up the garage the better option for me. Mud-jackers assured me they could pump up the concrete floor, which would close the crack and lift that side of the sinking garage, but they could not otherwise help with any garage straightening. This solution would last a few years, then would likely need to be repeated. I wanted a more permanent solution, and Badger provided it. He offered to lift the garage up, firmly realign it, lay a grid work of rebar over the old floor, and pour a new cement slab up to the newly elevated and straightened garage. Badger is what some people would call "old school." Instead of a laptop, he brings paper printouts. Instead of emails, he telephones to schedule work times and to keep you informed of progress. Badger's business style is reminiscent of a time when a handshake and trust in another person could seal a deal. Badger and his helpers worked very hard for me. They gave me exactly what I asked for and what I needed. I am thankful to Badger for helping me keep my dear, old garage. I am now confident that it is firmly rooted in solid ground, and I am proud to see it standing straight and tall again.

Our 60 year-old garage was in need of some TLC, the floor was deeply cracked and beginning to crumble in places. Badger came out and took a look within a couple of days of my reaching out and produced a bid immediately. He worked with his guys at a local concrete company to schedule out the job so we'd be without garage space for as little time as possible. Badger is a one-man machine, he arrived on time at 11am on day one and finished raising the garage by 7pm that evening. He removed the old crusty bolts, jacked up the garage, installed some new treated lumber in places where it had rotted and bolted the garage back down securely. The next morning the concrete guys were there right on time and by the end of the day we had 6 inches of beautiful new concrete floor and the garage seated nicely atop. Three days later when the concrete was fully cured, we were back to a fully operational garage, only much better. I highly recommend Badger Inc for your crumbling old garage floor, we are very happy customers!

We originally found Badger through another contractor who highly recommended him. It was challenging to find someone that could lift our sinking garage, stabilize it and put everything back together. Everyone else told us, we would need to rebuild the entire structure. Bader was very fast to provide a quote for the job and we were pleasantly surprised at the cost. Once we agreed on everything and the weather warmed up, the job was very fast and smooth. He sent us before and after pictures as we live across the country so we would be comfortable. He even worked with our tenant who was living there at the time and was not being the most cooperative. Badger found, scheduled and paid for storage for our tenant only charging us the cost of the unit. We were extremely satisfied with his work and the way he treated us. The garage was turn-key when he left. It is nerve racking being a country away trying to work through a large project like this. After we hired Badger, we never worried about it again. His communication is wonderful and he is an extremely nice guy. We cannot recommend him enough. We would definitely hire again!

When someone bashed out a panel on the door of our rickety old garage, we thought, "That's it. We'll never be able to get a new garage door that fits this poor sagging specimen." When we bought the  house, our realtor warned us that the garage was in bad shape, and we should assume we'd have to build a new one sooner rather than later.
Enter Badger. For less than half of a new garage of the same size, he turned our saggy baggy garage elephant into a healthy, happy, secure specimen. No more crumbling floor, no more water seeping under the walls, and no more wrestling the crooked garage door in its crooked track. He was wonderful to work with, too--fast, professional, and accomodating for our specific needs and limited budget. When we decided we couldn't afford to have a new driveway poured, he built us a sturdy wooden ramp to tide us over until we can pay for concrete.
In summary, you don't have to build new. Badger will save your old garage from the landfill, and save you money!

It all went very well.  The new floor and outer apron are nicely done ? attractive durable, just what we hoped for . It looks great, and I'm sure it will last for a long time.  We were concerned to get it done before winter, and Badger and Hardstone Concrete were fast and got it done in plenty of time.  Hardstone Concrete had neglected to install bolts during the pouring phase, but they came later to drill bolt holes into the hardened concrete and do the necessary bolting, so "no problem" ? the garage is not going to fly away in the wind any time soon.
Badger is quite experienced with these garage projects, and works "hand-in-glove" with Hardstone getting the job done.  His experience is important I think, and he is an easy and pleasant guy to deal with.  The Hardstone guys work like demons getting the job done quickly, doing an excellent job which, in the end, they did.

Best professional work I have had done on my house! I highly recommend this gentleman. Badger was prompt to the work site, gave a good estimate, laid out all that would take place and the timeframe. He coordinated the concrete work with Hardstone Concrete, St Paul (George). He stayed on top of the process and kept me in the loop during the entire project. It is amazing how he does this and the end result is perfect. I planned to do this for 18 years and did I tap into the perfect guy for the job!

I also highly recommend Hardstone Concrete in St Paul, MN. George (owner) came onsite and scoped out the job. He stood by his word and his work. A very hard working guy with ethics....something you don't see a lot of nowadays. HIs crew was timely and stayed on the job until complete. I highly recommend both businesses and if you need a building lifted....this is the perfect team to have.

I was very nervous as I had never seen a building being moved before.  I was quickly calmed due to Badger's professional manner, he's very good at what he does!  He very meticulously and carefully moved our garage back inch by inch to it's new permanent home.  I was amazed watching him place such a large structure so precisely as there was truly no room for error.  He was fantastic at moving our garage and I would definitely hire him again in the future.  Thanks Badger!

The move was performed with out a hitch. This was a large structure, 24' x 24' and had to be moved off the concrete slab so the old and severly cracked slab could be replaced. The whole garage was off the ground for about 2 weeks while the new slab was poured and cured. It was quite amazing how this was all performed and I had several nieghbors come by asking "How did he do that?"  Badger was great to work with, he was professional, on time and on budget.

I have a 100 year old, two story stable/garage, that was leaning badly. The wood sill around the base had rotted away and the previous owner had driven through the back wall. It's a unique old structure and I wanted to save it if possible, but most contractors told me they didn't know how to fix it and that I should tear it down.
I called Badger and he promptly dropped by to take a look. After thinking about it it for a day or two he came up with a way that he could stabilize the structure, jack the building up, replace the rotted wood and straighten it out. He also put me in touch with a concrete guy who was able to pour a new cement floor while it was up in the air! When he set it back in place it was as straight and plumb as new.
Badger has many years of experience moving and repairing old buildings and did a great job for me at a very reasonable price. He saved me thousands of dollars by fixing my old garage instead of having to tear it down and build a new one.
