The and quot;Check Engineand quot; light had been on in my 2002 Mazda Protege5 for
several months. At first it didn't have any effect on the car's
performance but eventually it caused problems in the low gears. My
regular mechanics at Fairchild's in Robbinsdale couldn't find the
problem on their computer so sent me to Auto Electric. I had used Auto
Electric previously to fix the wiring on a headlight and to fix the ABS
brake sensor so I was familiar with them. Mark and Paul at Fairchild's
told me that Auto Electric had a more sophisticated computer for trouble
shooting problems and they were right! Auto Electric found the problem -
a crack in the air intake tube. They replaced the tube and my car has
been running great.

My brother bought a 2001 Ford Focus. It has had a lot of transmission
trouble. He thought it might be electronic. I suggested Auto Electric
to him. I have never used their service, but as a courier of car
parts, I have often delivered parts to that business and always found
them to be friendly and professional. He had been very frustrated trying to
get to the root of the car's problem. After leaving the car at Auto Electric for a few hours,
he went back and talked to the manager. The manager had done a series of tests on it
and concluded that it would be a major repair job, probably done best by a dealer.
My brother appreciated his knowledge, honesty, and professionalism. But what he
appreciated most - was that Auto Electric did not charge him anything for their trouble or time!
My brother and I highly recommend them.

In any case, we're very happy it's fixed. They did the work the same day, and the overall cost was
acceptable. We would go back if we had other electrical issues.

Drove car to them without appointment. They couldn't work on it immediately but were very courteous and professional in getting information. They were, however, able to get to my car later that day and perform the services. They were able to pinpoint where the noise was coming from and, although a repair was possible, they told me there were no saftey issues and the source of the noise would not cause any further damage, that considering the age of the car and the number of miles, if I could live with the noise I would not have to get it fixed. i did not have them do the work to fix the noise but thanksed them for their diagnosis and opinion.

They are honest and trustworthy. They know their stuff, and have reasonable prices. There is no waiting room area. They get As down the line. They are perfect.
