 + -1 moreWe damaged the three figurines when we very quickly removed them from a flooded area in our basement. Each figurine had one or more small pieces broken off. I selected Artwork Repair (Jerry Ludwig) from reviewing Angie's List. I spoke with Jerry by phone and then took the pieces to his studio for evaluation. He inspected each piece and carefully explained what he would do to repair them. I told him we did not need them back quickly. He called after about a month and I picked them up. They look as good as new.
Description of Work: Repaired two pewter figures and one porcelain figurine.

 + -1 moreVery happy. I had a twelve week waiting period but if you want it done right, twelve weeks doesn't matter. Gerald is the go to person for Marshall Fields repair work. I am not sure of everything he can fix, but am totally happy with his porcelain repair work.
Description of Work: Porcelain Repair Specialists: Repaired broken porcelain art piece. Learned not to try to fix things on my own; if you don't glue it before he gets it; break line usually won't be visible. His work is very good. Piece had porcelain hair strands standing out to the side so he had to work with that.
