We brought our dog to the groomer and asked for a specific hair cut.  As requested, the grooming person did give him the haircut as requested and it ended up looking very nice.  However, within a few hours after we brought our dog home, we noticed two problems:  1.  She had shaved him on his bottom because of some matting of his fur.  She, unfortunately, had shaved his s****** too close and nicked him.  2.  She had nicked the tip of his tail.  He started licking both areas pretty incessantly.
The next day, we brought him to the Apache Animal Hospital (which is connected to Apache Boarding and Grooming and based on their web site is owned and managed by the same peopele) to report the issue with his grooming and to see if there was any medical attention needed.  He was given medicine to put on both nicks and was given a cone for his head so he didn't lick the areas.
When I explained to the vet and vet assistant at Apache Animal Hospital about my issues with the grooming at Apache Grooming, it was a very dissatifying experience.  I was asked by each person I interacted with where I got our dog groomed.  When I told them Apache Grooming, I was told by each of them that there was no record of our dog's visit/grooming.  This happened 4-5 times throughout the visit.  I was treated by the entire staff like I was lying to them.
NOTE:  they happily charged the grooming fee to our credit card so I had proof we'd been there.   Even if a record wasn't in their computer to show that we'd had an appointment, we did get charged a grooming fee on that day.  It wouldn't have taken much effort for them to look this up.  Additionally, the person who waited on us during the grooming was working at the animal hospital and should've remembered us.
When we were done with the office visit for our dog and went to the desk to pay, I questioned why I was being charged for an office visit caused by their groomer.  I was told I'd be charged for a quick office visit (so basically a discount) and was also scolded for not saving our cone from when our dog was neutered.   I was told I'd also get my next grooming for free (which wasn't giving me warm fuzzies given the bad haircut from the previous day).
I did follow up by writing a personal letter to the manager of Apache Animal hospital requesting a refund for this visit.  However, I never received any type of response back from her.
I've since brought our dog to another vet and groomer and will not do my business with Apache Grooming nor Apache Animal Hospital again.
