Initial communications were took a couple days for each response. Also it was not clear if we had a committed agreement.
Food delivery was right on time, servers were very nice and very helpful. Food was very good. Huge quantity of food for 50 people, probably 3X what was needed, so we donated the extra to a retirement home. Price seemed high, but I don't know the catering industry and it was my choice to go ahead.
Overall I would use hem again.

Annie worked with us before the event to provide samples of the food and tailor the menu for a wide range of guests. On the day of our event she showed up at the designated time with the food, and the 2 servers arrived shortly after. Everything was ready, with food available, when guest started to arrive. Our event was open house style, with guest in multiple rooms, as well as outside. One of the servers worked in the kitchen to keep the food flowing, and the second server circulated with food. Both servers worked to ensure there were no dirty dishes or cups in the different rooms of our house. The food was delicious, with something for every palate. Once the party started, everything flowed with the food and service. My husband and I did not have to worry about a thing so we could focus on our many guests! Four hours after the party started, the servers wrapped up, leaving the kitchen spotless, food put away, and all trash and recycles outside. Overall Annie's and the servers attention to detail was excellent and impressive.
We could not have asked for a better experience and will definitely use Annie's for our next catered event!

I got them from Angie’s List. They did a nice job of presenting things and they will provide the service for the event probably in June. We have some specific needs because it’s a very large group. It’s about four days and they have to feed people for breakfast and lunch. We are looking forward to it because it’s seems it is going to be a positive thing for our organization. Responsiveness and punctuality was very good. They were very good.

Scheduled a small party at our home for hot and cold hors d'ouevres. Brian helped with the menu that had to also feed vegetarian. He was helpful and enthusiastic even though the party was for only 15 people. Also, I had to change the date 3 weeks in advance because of an important guest's arrival date in town. No problem for them. Food was fresh and delicious and the choices plentiful. Delivered on time by Annie. Also last minute they did a menu on a Word Doc I could display. Hope I have a chance to use them again.

Healthy, fresh, pre-prepared meals to keep on hand for all of those crazy nights. Packaged to use immediately or freeze for future use. Either way, taste and quality is superb . Great to keep life moving, as all you need to do is warm up a fantastic meal.

Annie catered a brunch for a very lovely baby shower for 30 women at my home. She came up with a menu of two egg dishes, salads, potatoes and pastries. Desserts were a fabulous white cake and a gluten free chocolate cake. Every dish was wonderful. I made menu changes a few days before and Annie accommodated them. I paid extra for two servers and they did a great job. I was free to enjoy my guests while they discreetly took care of everything. Believe me, this is the way to entertain!

From the beginning, Annie responded quickly to all my inquiries.
She was very helpful in all details and flexible as the event evolved.
For example we added a bunch of kids last minute and she added some amazing mac and cheese to the menu.
We had Claire to staff the event and she was punctual, cheerful and managed the food service perfectly.
The food was the star of the evening - it was AMAZING!

We wanted heavy appetizers for a shareholder dinner for 40 in our home. Food was presented nicely by mom and daughter serving staff. With other caterers I have used, they stay to cook and help serve, but Annie drops the food off, makes sure the staff is aim liar with the menu and then leaves. Not a negative, just different!
The food was fresh and had tasted great! I would definitely use again. Thanks Annie and staff!

My sister who lives out of state and I were planning a party. I looked at Angie's List reviews and chose 3 highly recommended caterers. My sister contacted all three and chose Annie's cooking tonight because she was the most flexible, since we wanted to handle some of the details ourselves. This is my sisters review

We wanted the extended family to meet her fiancand eacute; so we planned a party in MN. My nephew and his wife graciously agreed to host the party in their home in South Minneapolis. I checked around with three catering companies and opted for Annie’s Cooking Tonight. She was terrific. She and her staff worked with me to produce the Mediterranean buffet menu I had in mind. The prices were fair the delivery was prompt and the food was delicious. I would recommend Annie and her staff.

Annie arrived at 9:15 AM as promised, and her attendant a short time later. She got all the food out and ready for serving. I was able to mingle with my guests and get something to eat myself.
The food was yummy and plentiful.
Clair was our server and she was quite pleasant and helpful. She saw when something was needed and took care of it. Best of all is she cleaned up!
Annie is Cooking Tonight will be added to my index of service providers and I would use her again when needed.

Well it was the best. Everyone had a great time because we used Annies Cooking Tonight for our catering and chef needs. They were on time and took are of everything 100%. It was a wonderful summer party, because Brian was their acting as head chef and master BBQ'er and they sides, salads and apps were out of this world yummy. Yes, yummy is how I would describe the food. It just wonderful.

Servers arrived one hour before the guests to familiarize themselves with the facilities; Annie arrived with big insulated bags of food, which was finished in our ovens, a half-hour before the guests. Everything was cleaned up and put away - unobtrusively, I might add - before the last guests left, which was perfect. Everyone agreed that it was a marvelous party, due entirely to Annie's superlative food and Clare and Nancy, the excellent servers.

Tried to contact them and would only get the voice mail. The calls were returned 1-2 days later and if I didn't catch the returned call it be back to the voice mail and a day or two later. The few times I talked to them they were very helpful, but I didn't feel comfortable not being able to get hold of them.

Very helpful via email or phone to assist in suggesting what to serve for the occasion. Modified quotes as the number of guests attending kept changing. Awesome selection and suggestions for what to serve. I would consider this to be a high end catering service. Everything was delivered on time, was presented well, was clean and the food was amazing.

The food was of excellent quality and variety, receiving compliments from many of the guests who chose to take one of Annie's business cards with them. Adequate portions were provided and the dearth of leftovers spoke to how well people liked the food. The service was fairly good but not fantastic. The bartender Kim was fine, but the two servers were a little on the low energy side. When I voiced this mild complaint, Annie mentioned that it was a good team, but she had them working a double after an afternoon affair that day. In hind-sight she thought that maybe she should have used a fresh team. Despite than minor complaint, they would be my first choice for our next affair.

It was SOOO wonderful. Annie is awesome - and the food was superb - everyone raved about it. The event was so nicely handled - Annie and Diane came early, and got everything ready and finished up dinner. Diane served appetizers as we were mingling before dinner. Dinner was served and I didn't have to get up once! The food and empty plates were moved and filled, water glasses filled - it was like being at a nice restaurant at home. When all was done, everything was cleaned up and spick and span. I think I washed 2 leftover coffee cups. I would highly recommend. Oh - and Brian is very helpful. He talked me through several menu options and had lots of good suggestions prior to the event.

I liked that I could fax her/email or call her to ask questions, and she was very quick on email (which I preferred). She was very friendly;I believe I was talking to Annie herself. Man, if I had someone else to share a meal with, I would probably do this, but decided not to do it for myself.

Annie's food is excellent and a great value. Annie is very pleasant and will alter food for your dietary needs. We always have leftovers for lunch, so we actually save money by using her services. We have been customers for over two years and I couldn't manage work and home life without her services. Highly recommended.
