I bought one of the Angie's List deals which included sewer cleaning and inspection for $99.  I don't know what the original price is; but, I was VERY happy with the company.  The work was done on my parents' house (in Minneapolis) which had just been sold but not closed.  Buyers requested that the sewer be cleaned before the closing.  I called the company before I bought the coupon to make sure they could schedule the work immediately (though there was no sewer problem).  I believe I talked with Jonathan and he scheduled me immediately.  I was VERY thankful because we were running out of time to get the job done.  
I was not able to be home when they arrived, but our renter was there.  I got a call explaining what would be done and I got a call again after the work was completed.  Our renter (a contractor, himself) told me he was VERY impressed with the work and that he would remember the name as well.

Jonathan was on time, as professional as you could want and did everything I asked.  My house is nearly 200' from the street and required two trucks worth of snake to clean out the sewer.  Jonathan was very concerned to be sure he did everything thoroughly and in a way that he could be proud of.
The end product is, I know I have a drain that will not give me a problem for a long, long time.  When there was a question about pricing from me, Jonathan bent over backwards to make sure I felt fairly treated.
I would never question using Jonathan, he is first rate and takes what he does very seriously.

Went well.  Line looked clear and no sewer line cleaning was necessary.

Jonathan was great. He came within 2 hours of when I called him. Knew just what to do and was finished in 1/2 hours work covering over his shoes to keep floors clean.

Called ahead on day of service and arrived on time.  Showed me a view of my sewer line as he pulled it in from the street to the house and explained what I was seeing.  Suggested that there was no need for his service again for another 10-15 years.

Justin was great very professional. He came when he said he would explained things as he went, made sure I understood my options. I would reccommend this company to anyone.

Our basement  has been humid for several years and we suspected that there was a crack or hole in the main sewer pipe.  Jonathan ran a camera through the system and we were delighted to see that the drain had no cracks or damage and looked cleaner than my last colonoscopy!
There were no roots to clean out but the camera work was worth every cent of the Big Deal.
Jonathan also had a lot of good common sense information about basements, drain systems, humidity, etc.

Couldn't ask for better. He showed up and did the job and knew what he was doing. He didn't seem annoyed by me watching over his shoulder and gave me some advice on another plumbing issue I'm having. I won't hesistate to call him again or recommend to others.

I received an Angie's List Big Deal notice via e-mail. We have been in our home for about 4 years – the house we previously lived in had to have the main line cleaned every year, so we had been thinking about having our line inspected and cleaned. I called Jonathan at American Sewer. He said he could be at the house in 30 minutes! He was polite and personable. He came in and got the job done. I can't say enough about his professionalism. I would definitely call him again.

He understood the issue at my home and arrived the next day as arranged. It took him exactly the time he estimated. He then contacted the City of Bloomington so they were aware of his work in case it had an impact on the City lines in the street.
He then charged me exactly what he estimated.
What more can one ask?

It was overall an "A". Joe showed up on time, got the issue fixed, and when he left you did not know he had been in the house.
