AMEGO GLASS & MIRROR

After calling several mirror companies, I decided to go with Amego glass due to my timeline they said they could meet. Joe was quick to get the deposit. Now I feel stupid giving a deposit for a large custom mirror, but I live and learn. I missed him the first time for the deposit, so he came over the next morning with the contract. The contract stated the delivery date of April 11th. When I called him on the 10th to set up the delivery, he siad I misread the contract and it was the 17th. I explained that I would have never agreed to that because we were closing on the house then. He said he would get me the mirror within two days. After MANY texts and calls he said the mirror was chipped and he would have to get it on Monday. I explained that my installers would no longer be there and he agreed to install it at no charge. He stopped answering my phone calls and texts. I could only get a hold of him if I called from a random number. Then I could not get a hold of him at all. I have filed a complaint with the BBB. But he has not responded. Small claims court does not guarantee payment and since he already stole $100, I don't want to lose another $70 for him to no show. It is so frustrating!!! Seriously, a glass company front to drive around and steal money?!
