Our initial contact was good - they were very responsive and quick to bid, quick to schedule. They did what seemed a thorough job cleaning the decks prior to staining. However, they did a mediocre job with actually staining. They applied the stain with a rag, which left it extremely blotchy. Both Sherwin Williams and Hirshfields later said that rag application requires a "back brushing" to make it look right - this was never done in this case. The edges of the boards were left completely unstained. Many spills occurred on our siding, landscaping, sidewalk, etc. After expressing dissatisfaction with the work, they attempted to restain the front porch with just a partial sanding (so it may or may not hold up, so says Sherwin Williams). The back decks looks quite blotchy/streaky. All Labor tried to blame this on differing absorption patterns in the wood, but it is clear that the application was incorrect. After a few follow-up visits, we gave up believing they could make it right.

All labor was great. The best part of the experience was the daily feedback I received via email from Jim Wilson. If I ever had any questions, Jim responded quickly. The workers were trustworthy and good. I let them in my house during most of the work with no one else home. They responded quickly to extras added by the local inspector. Overall, I am very satisfied with the work and price paid.

ALL LABOR HANDYMAN PROVIDED EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE TO ME IN WORKING WITHIN MY BUDGET AND PROVIDING ME WITH REMODELING SERVICES THAT FEEL LIKE A BRAND NEW HOUSE. THEIR HONESTY, ATTENTION TO DETAILS, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, WORKING WITH ME TO BE SURE THAT I REMAINED SATISFIED WERE SIMPLY EXCEPTIONAL. I LIVED IN THE HOUSE FOR 18 YEARS AND HAD DONE ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. NEEDLESS TO SAY, THINGS WERE FALLING APART AND I FELT THAT IT WAS TOO OVERWHELMING. I CONTACTED ALL LABOR HANDYMAN. THEY SPENT AN ADEQUATE AMOUNT OF TIME GOING OVER THE NEEDED REPAIRS AND GIVING ME SUGGESTION FOR A PRIORITY LISTS. WE AGREED ON A PRICE FOR THE WORK NEEDED. THEY THEN BEGIN THE WORK AND TALKED TO ME DAILY TO BE SURE THAT THEY WERE STAYING ON TASK, ON BUDGET, AND I REMAINED SATISFIED. EVERYONE WHO HAS SEEN THE HOUSE BEFORE AND SEES IT NOW IS SIMPLY SURPRISED AT THE QUALITY AND EXTENT OF THE WORK AND THE PRICE I PAID. I FEEL LIKE I GOT A BRAND NEW HOUSE.

ALL LABOR HANDYMAN STRIPPED AND REFINISHED OUR LARGE DECK THIS SUMMER. THEY CAME IN RECORD TIME AND WORKED THROUGH THE RAIN OF JUNE. THEY SPENT THE TIME TO COVER THE VEGETATION AROUND THE DECK AND REMOVE ITEMS THAT WE HAD FORGOTTEN WERE STORED UNDER THE DECK. THE WORKERS WERE VERY THOROUGH IN REMOVING THE OLD STAIN. THE WATER REPELLENT STAIN THEY USED ON THE DECK CONTINUES TO BEAD UP WITH EVERY RAINFALL AND THE COLOR IS JUST WHAT WE WANTED. THEY DID A VERY NICE JOB OVERALL.

MIKE WAS THE PROJECT SUPERVISOR, HE WAS RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. HIS WORKERS, WHILE POLITE, WERE VERY UNRELIABLE. THE TEXTURE AND PAINT ON THE CEILING WERE THE ONLY GOOD PART OF THE JOB. THE WALL PAINTING WAS SO BAD WE REFUSED TO PAY FOR IT. THE TILE WORK WAS OK, BUT YOU CONSTANTLY HAD TO KEEP THEM ON TASK. THE SCHEDULE CONSTANTLY WAS SLIPPING.
