They handled everything. There were things that didn't need to be fixed, and told us upfront. One of the best experiences we've had!

They were friendly and helpful and did the work quickly while I waited.

It went very smoothly. We first called a number of auto service people from the list, and found them to be straight forward, open to estimate cost of repair based on what the Toyota Dealership told us was wrong. Once we scheduled the work, instead of just taking the dealerships diagnosis - they did their own diagnosis and found the problem to be more extensive then first thought. They broke down all the costs and helped us decide if we should do the work. They also informed us that a major repair had not been performed 30,000 miles earlier, which we also had done.

Very well. These guys are the most thorough and courteous car service people I've encountered. Very willing to explain what they've found and leave it in your hands as to what you want done.

I used Alexander's because of its high ratings on Angie's List. I found the staff to be courteous and professional. They answered my questions with detail and with an explanation that never felt condescending (something that happens often to women in the auto world). A few days after completing the work, they called me to make sure everything was running smoothly. As for price, it seemed reasonable to me. They only charged me for the parts and labor related to the drive belt and tensioner, despite doing a complete check of other systems (I had questioned a noise that seemed to relate to the wheels). Overall, I was pleased with the service I received and impressed with my interactions with the staff. I would use Alexander's again without hesitation.

I am very pleased with the people at Alexander's. They were very professional in their technical and customer service. They had great communication and a fair price. I like to get the most out of my vehicles, and Alexander's is a great find for me.

With no notice, they handled my repair promptly, fairly and although the suggested replacing both sets of wheel bearings, respectfully agreed that replacing one side at a time was a satisfactory action. They seem fair, responsive and appreciative of the work. I will work with these guys for the foreseeable future.

Very good experience. They cleaned- rather than insisting on replacing- the pricey exhaust gas recirculation valve. That saved money right there. There was a mix-up about the day I'd made my appointment. I made one for Monday but they didn't have me in the computer. They took it all in stride & had my car back within 30 hours. Nice, honest, give-it-to-you-straight guys. It's a little out of the way unless you live on Minneapolis' east side, but you'll be glad you took your car there.

Corresponded with Dan via email to start. Very professional. Once car was towed to their location, Ben was in contact with me via phone at each stage of the repairs; giving me a status and getting my approval at each stage of the work done. Washed and vacuumed the car before returning to me, and made a list of needed, but not urgent, maintenance to be addressed at future visits.

Very professional, pleasant folks. They called to confirm price before completing work and called when work was done. The car runs like a top. This was our first experience with Alexander's, but they will be our regular car repair/maintenance center from now on.

All people we spoke to were polite, earnest and knowledgeable. They were able to explain what was needed and why in layperson's language. They kept me informed as the repairs were being completed and carefully continued to work until they made a diagnostic and repair that did completely fix the problem. They were very considerate of my time when more work was needed to repair the brake problem and when an ordered part was not quickly available. They also told me what work would be needed in the future, and when that would be needed. The work was done correctly and completely fixed the problems, leaving me with a safe, reliable care. I also am confident in the reasonableness of the price (considering the amount of work that was needed) and their honesty. I would use them again. FYI Alexander's is highly rated by Click and Clack.

ALEXANDERS DOES ALL SERVICE ON MY VEHICLE. THEY DO CAREFUL WORK, ACCOMMODATE MY SCHEDULE, PROVIDE A WEALTH OF INFO IN LANGUAGE EASY FOR A NON-CAR-FREAK TO UNDERSTAND, ACCOMMODATE CUSTOMERS FINANCIAL REALITIES. AND DO NOT TALK DOWN TO THOSE OF US IN FEMALE BODIES. PROFESSIONAL AND PLEASANT. I DEPEND N MY CAR AND TRUST THEM TO KEEP IT IN RELIABLE CONDITION. THEY KEPT MY CAMRY RUNNING FOR 15 YEARS, AND I'VE BEEN A CUSTOMER FOR 16 YEARS.

KNOCKED MY SOCKS OFF WITH THEIR SERVICE! THE BRAKES THEY INSTALLED SQUEAKED, SO THEY CALLED TO TELL ME IT WAS TAKING LONGER THAN EXPECTED. WHEN I DID PICK UP THE CAR, THEY THOUGHT IS WAS MUCH BETTER AND THAT IT WOULD RESOLVE AS THE PADS WORE. THEY CALLED ME A MONTH LATER TO CHECK AND THEY WERE STILL SQUEAKING, SO I BROUGHT THE CAR BACK. IT TOOK THEM 4 DAYS AND 3 SETS OF BRAKE PADS ( AND A FAVOR FROM A BUDDY AT A SHOP IN CA!), BUT WHEN I GOT THE CAR BACK THEY WERE PERFECT. THEY CALLED EACH STEP OF THE WAY TO KEEP ME INFORMED AND NEVER ASKED FOR SO MUCH AS A NICKEL MORE THAN I HAD ALREADY PAID! BRAVO!

I WILL DEFINITELY USE THEM AGAIN FOR ANY OTHER AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE WE MIGHT NEED IN THE FUTURE.

HAS USED COMPANY FOR THIRTEEN YEARS, GOOD AT EXPLAINING THINGS. GOOD AT CUSTOMER SERVICE, WILL WORK WITH YOU TO FIND SOMETHING THAT WORKS FOR YOU. SHE HAS ABSOLUTE FAITH IN THEM! WILL NOT GO ANYWHERE ELSE WITH HER CAR. THE ACTUAL OWNERS DO THE WORK AND KNOW THEIR CUSTOMERS PERSONALLY. WOULD RATE THEIR INTEGRITY VERY HIGH. WILL NOT QUESTION THEIR JUDGEMENT!

THESE FOLKS ARE FANTASTIC. WE'VE USED A LOT OF DIFFERENT AUTO SHOPS AND NEVER EXPERIENCED ANY THAT ARE QUITE THIS PROFESSIONAL, CLEAR AND EASY TO UNDERSTAND, FAIR IN ESTIMATES, TIMELY.
