Al did a very professional and excellent job, took it as a bit of a personal challenge to figure out the issue, we were very satisfied.

Al stepped in and, in a couple hours, had a new, correctly installed, up-to-code outlet installed that exceeded my expectations!

Al is a pro. He is easy to get along with, easy to communicate with, and he does good work. He is happy to chat about work being performed, and he is also happy to get down to it. Fun fact: Al is credited in the Reader's Digest Complete Do It Yourself Manual.

Al came the same day that I called.  Our 3-in-1 bathroom fan was only 1-in-3 working.  Al came, did some troubleshooting, discovered that the switch had malfunctioned.  Went to buy a new one - replaced the switch - had it working again.  All within an hour.  Very knowledgable - would definitely hire again.

Al was absolutely fantastic. We just moved into our new home and hadn't quite realized that our quaint midcentury house had quaint midcentury bathrooms with no outlets we could run our hair driers, hair straighteners, electric tooth brushes, electric shavers on. There was no way we could move into the house without the outlets being in first. Called Al, he was able to come in within 2 days, and added in the new outlets along with a new code compliant circuit breaker, all in a day. He's a consummate professional, and knows his stuff inside out.

We were in a pinch.  The contractor we had lined up to do the work required to complete the inspection addendum items for our house closing bailed on us and didn't return our calls.  So on a Saturday, we called Al.  He came out as soon as he could the following Tuesday and inspected the electrical and put together an estimate that afternoon. By Wednesday morning he was working on the list of items and completed everything including following through with the final inspection by the city the next Monday afternoon.   He did quality work and was very professional, dependable and timely.     
 On a personal level -He is a really nice guy.  He is good for lively conversation as well.  Very articulate and learned man.

Al is great!!! You can tell he really loves what he is doing.  He has an electrical engineering background so he knows his stuff.  We think he offers his services because it's fun, not because it's his job.

2011: He completed all work when he said he would. He went with me to the hardware store and when we couldn't find parts there, he helped me order them online. He was knowledgable, congenial and professional at all times. I couldn't have asked for better service and will use him again. 2015: Once again, it went well. This time, instead of accompanying me to HD, he emailed links to the electrical parts I needed and I took my iPad with me-very convenient.

Al got a permit the same day, came right away the next day, and got everything taken care of for our Section 8 Inspection. His estimate was thankfully right on. Al is wonderfully nice and accommodating too! Thanks so much Al!

Al did a nice job explaining the work. He also did a nice write up on other issues we should have done in the future. We had one other bid for the same work and Al was comparable and just a little less expensive.

Great. He was on time, quick with his work, and completed the work to the level of perfectionism I needed.

Al was fabulous. After the thermostat was installed, later that night the heater wouldn't turn off. He came back at 10 pm to problem solve it again. He solved the problem (I had a switch on that shouldn't have been.) He also informed me I was using the wrong kind of bulbs in the motion detector and would continue to burn through bulbs quickly if I didn't buy the right bulbs. He bought the bulbs for me.

Al was able to come to my home shortly after contacting him and arrived ontime. Al quickly identified the problem and was able to fix it in no time. He explained throughly and clearly what the problem was and how he proposed to fix it prior to doing any work. I've used Al in the past for issues with our home and would highly recommend you consider utilizing his services.

Al did a very thorough job cleaning up after years of people working on the property. I am very pleased with the work.

Al was very responsive, listened to the issue and was willing/able to give a diagnosis and estimate over the phone (instead of coming out to the house and charging to do it). He was able to come out and make the repair the same day! Would use him again.

After conducting an excellent tour of the electrical system of our newly purchased 1923 home, he gave an estimate for installing tamper-proof grounded outlets for the main floor & the upstairs, as well as correcting some dangerous wiring installed by the prior owners. Al did a nice job explaining how our fuse box works, how to shut down our electrical circuits and maintain the system, and even gave a great explanation of why we should wait to install a new circuit breaker. He has a great deal of knowledge of electricity and electrical wiring. He was very thorough and clean in replacing old outlets that were ungrounded with grounded, tamper proof outlets. My sister (whose brother-in-law is a master electrician out of state) was very impressed. As we continue with our extensive home repairs, we have decided we will be calling on Al regularly to help guide us through the electrical improvements required.

Al executed the work order over a number of weeks. He offered suggestions that were helpful and could explain any questions about electricity, lighting, bulbs and efficiency. He is very knowledgeable about the electrical building code. He is very easy going and was able to work calmly amidst 3 young energetic boys, which we appreciated. In the course of our conversations we talked of our troublesome living room light fixture switch. Al offered to fix the troublesome living room switch, and that he did. He has an electrical engineering degree, but his preference is to do the hands on work, and we are glad he does that, we were very happy with his work. We would not hesitate to hire him again because of his quality, professionalism, and general friendly personality.

He was very thorough with finding out what needed to be done and explaining it to me. He troubleshooted the whole duplex and brought it up to city code so that the inspector could license it. He found all the surprises and took care of them. He put in a bid and came in at the bid price. He was very clear that if there were any changes, he would discuss them before doing anything.

Al gave me a bid. Explained the work. Completed the work and made my inspector very happy.
