+ -1 moreWe had a storm and I had 3 commercial buildings and my pole barn roof at home that had storm damage. Bob Keelin inspected the buildings for me and his crews performed the work.. He noticed quite a few things that needed repairs that I would never have noticed. The work done was neat and professional and Bob was very conscientious about seeing that it was done properly and he is very knowledgeable of proper construction. He did all the contacts with the insurance adjusters and I did not have to do any. I would highly recommend this company.
Description of Work: 3 new roofs and siding and miscellaneous structural repairs

+ -1 moreThe above tells it all. We paid for and installed the gutters. We bought and replaced the main door. We had the egress window area dug out and made sure the area was properly drained. We also paid off the individuals who installed the fireplace and did some electrical work so that we could buy our first home without any liens. There obviously is no "finish" to this story since we are still working on items that were never done or were poorly done.
Description of Work: Contractor hired with recommendation of neighboring building. Fire damage was extensive so we contracted to rebuild with a second story. Plans presented were acceptable and he made requested changes. July start date with promise of completion by November, 2007. Certificate of occupancy not allowed until end of January, 2008. Screens and gutters never put on, front door warped within six months, no exterior painting as agreed to, subcontractors not paid in a timely manner and a few never received their pay, egress window improperly installed resulting in extensive water damage and a need to hire knowledgeable person to correctly install window after digging out the proper area, and this list goes on!!! Several phone calls never resulted in work being completed nor subcontractors paid. Unfortunately his company name did NOT show up when we searched Angies List in 2007.

THIS HAS BEEN GRUELING, ONE MISSED DEADLINE AFTER ANOTHER, IT HAS BEEN A FINANCIAL BURDEN. THEY MISSED THE DEADLINE THEY PROVIDED TO OUR INSURANCE AND OUR LIVING EXPENSES WERE CUT OFF. THEY SAID THE WOULD PAY THE RENT AND MANAGED TO FOR 1 MONTH SO FAR. IF YOU HAVE A BAD LIST THIS ONE SHOULD GO ON IT.

Description of Work: FIRE RESTORATION AND REMODELING OF A TOWNHOME. ASSOCIATION PAID MOST OF THE FEE. SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE - NOT DONE IN TIME FOR CLOSING, COMPLETED DATES MOVED, NSF CHECK FROM BUILDER TO PURCHASE APPLIANCES, POOR WORKMANSHIP. AFTER CLOSING, RESPONSE HAS BEEN EVEN WORSE - A NUMBER OF THINGS STILL NEED TO BE DONE ACCORDING TO CLOSING AGREEMENT, BUT NONE HAVE AND IT HAS BEEN 3 WEEKS SINCE THE CLOSING DATE.
