ADDIE LANE FLORAL

I have ordered several arrangements from this florist over the years. I have always been moderately disappointed. My experience has been that if you order an arrangement outside of a special occasion, you tend to get what you pay for. Unfortunately, during holidays and other special occasions, you get less out Addie Lane in regards to both quantity and quality. 
My most recent experience is what prompted me to write this review. I ordered to arrangements from the online selection to give to my wife for Mother's day. The first arrangement I requested was to be designed by the florist and I chose to upgrade to the "best" quality on the menu. The flowers received were small and the number was much less than I expected. What my wife received seemed more consistent with the description for the "good" arrangement. The worst part of my experience was with the "Sweet Splendor" arrangement I ordered. It called for orange spray roses. I fully read the substitution policy before ordering. I also upgraded to the "best" arrangement. When it arrived not only was it much smaller than advertised, there was no similarity to the flowers ordered online. There were no orange spray roses. I requested to be notified for any changes to the arrangement (as I was able to specify on checkout). I received no notification from them. I would love to be able to post pictures of what I ordered to compare them to what we got.
I have decided to never order from this florist again. There seems to be no conscience toward the quality of the products they provide. There seems to be no accountability based on other reports in Angie's list. I would not recommend ordering anything from this florist.  

I looked at their arrangements on the internet and found a basket filled with 4 different green plants, with a few flowers and a bow.  For the money it looked like a very nice basket.  All the plants are very common and easily found in Minnesota at anytime of the year.  I called to place my order and the call taker was pleasant.  When I arrived at the funeral I looked for the basket and couldn't believe what I was looking at..  The basket and plants were supposed to be 18 in tall.  This total height was about 8 in tall and contained 2 plants, that didn't look very healthy.  There were no flowers and no bow.  I couldn't believe that this is what they sent.  To sum it up I was very embarassed by what I had sent to honor a friend.  I called the flowere shop that night and was told that they would give me store credit.  NOT!.  The owner called me the following Monday and admitted to forgetting to put the flowers in.  She told me that they have the discretion to substitute plants.  I told her I understand that but the substitutions should at least be a similar substitute so as not to change the whole look of the basket.  In the end she credited my card $20.  It still doesn't make up for the embarrassment I feel.  I will NEVER order from this shop again and have told everyone I know to stay away.  Spend your hard earned money somewhere else!

Miki offered a great service at a fair price. My wife thought the flowers were amazing every time. Miki remembered every month to request a message from me, and when I was unable to respond she took the initiative to get flowers delivered. The delivery service was excellent. Everyone was friendly and pleasant to deal with.
