Gregg the sales person visited the location and was given a drawing of the awning to be made. The quality of the awning compared to Hoigaards left a lot to be desired.

The installation was curious as they told us they had "to make some field adjustments" to make it work. Not sure what they did to adjust the awning installation but they told us that.

However, the awning drawing and the actual awning were different. They made a 6 " x 8 ft gap across the top for some reason and that allows for rain to pour through.

When questioned Gregg said that was the way the previous owner had his??? Obviously we did NOT need a hole in our awning. His remedy was to "patch it"!!!

What crap. You expect to have a perfect awning, not a patched one. This company would  NOT fix it without us paying for a whole new awning.

We are contesting this with our credit card company and removing their awning. Cheaply made compared to Hoigaards for about the same price. And the Hoigaards one does NOT have a hole in it.

Poor and lacking professionalism. Don't use.

I have a small balcony on the back of my home, and wanted a retractable awning option for rainy days.  Not only did Greg help me find the right fit for my application, but he was very willing to make a few special alterations to create the perfect fit for the space.  We love it, and it perfectly matches with a previous awning we had made by Acme.  Functional and attractive, it adds a good bit of character to an otherwise bland back of my house.

I contacted Brian via email and he responded immediately. I had used Acme many years back for awnings and he was able to pull the information, send me an estimate (which included a previous customer discount-unasked) and provide details for the stenciling I requested.  They were unable to match the exact color but Brian brought out several alternatives and offered some great advice. Four days later, a crew (cheerful, interactive) pulled up, set up their equipment and installed the awnings without any hassle/mess, etc.  They thanked me for my business. This experience was generally unlike ANY of my interactions with home/improvement companies. Needless to say my awnings are functional and lovely, like the predecessors that Acme made so many years ago! Oh, by the way, the bid was nearly $700 cheaper that two other companies.

Salesman Brian was very nice and personable. prepaid amount. When shades came they did not look good hung higher than last ones.So they agreed to shorten them.They sent me a bill for another $500.00 before they did them and when I called to inquire why they were so much I got Mike who was very rude and said it was there busy season now and I would have to wait till they got to them. When they did come one did not fit at all!! I found out Mike was the owner of only 2 years or more...I did have the one fixed and paid. the extra bill but it was not a good experience.
I would use Hoigaards or some one else in the future.

All went very well. Brian responded quickly and was out to give an estimate the same day I called. I found them to be very reasonably priced and I liked that they were in my neighborhood. There are hundreds of colors and many styles to choose from. Once we decided on a color and style I was told it could be 3-4 weeks until it would be ready then they would send their crew to install. To my pleasant surprise, our awning arrived within two weeks. The guys who came out to install it were pleasant, quick and did a great job. I'm thrilled with my new awning that will help keep my home cool as the summer months heat up.

The salesman was jovial, helpful, and very pleasant to work with, showing me my options for the projects I was planning.
While he was there, he noticed that I had dug a trench in my back yard for electrifying my garage, and he happened to have some plastic tape that goes in the half-buried trench to warn future diggers of the presence of the conduit. He brought it over the next day, and didn't ask a thing for it.
I am more than pleased with the service and installation of the awning, and it truly added the necessary character and protection to my house.

They were the third people who have been out here for awnings. We put one on that we wanted and we liked it so much that we put some more on; they're all on the south side. They put the storm window one yesterday and they'll be out again tomorrow. They are awesome; they put it right the first time and it works. They are professional and they clean up after themselves. They are nice folks too. I am very, very happy with them. Everything they did was outstanding. I think they were the least expensive as well, as I recall. I take the awnings down in the winter time and I dropped and broke one of the little parts used to wind down the awning. He was out right away and brought me a couple of them in case I were to break another one.

We experienced storm damage to our exisiting awnings. After contacting ACME there was a very nice man, Brian, that came to our house and spent about an hour explaining all of our options within two days. Then, after we had accepted their bid, they sent a crew out to remove our old awnings in preparation for recovering during the winter months after we had selected our new coverings. We decided between three color choices and went to their business location to compare samples with our new color choices for our house. They dropped what they were doing to help us and even had a sample mailed out the next day from the manufacturer. Our experiences were top notch and we would recommend them to anyone considering their services or products.

Appointment for the salesman was made within a week of my inquiry. The awning was installed within two weeks and when I had a concern about about the installation, the salesman responded immediately and rearranged cords to my satisfation.

I enjoyed working with them. They were punctual and did a great job of putting the awnings up. They were easy to work with. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future if necessary.

I requested fast service, and they really took that to heart. There are not many places in town that make awnings, but they were fast and did a good job. They responded quickly, and we were happy with their work.

I had a few estimates from awning companies and Acme had the best price. The estimates were all done by A rated companies on Angie's list. The awnings were installed perfectly and in the time span I was told it would take to get the material and frames.

Everything went perfectly.

They are extremely professional, courteous and knowledgeable. The workmanship is excellent. And the prices are very competitive. I am LOVING this awning and how it looks.
