Accent Design did a full rip out of my kitchen down to the walls and subflooring, repaired sheetrock damage and installed new sheetrock where missing, installed custom cabinets, new porcelain floor, new vent to outdoors (no previous outdoor vent), new Quartz countertops, new sink, and all new appliances. | |Bernie was very good to work with on working through the many selection decisions for a new kitchen with good explanations for the tradeoffs for choices. He answered all questions patiently and thoroughly. All the work was very well done and Bernie kept the project moving along from start to finish. Bernie was very good with prompt response to phone calls and email. | |I am very happy with my new kitchen. Accent Design did a great job at a reasonable price. I have already hired them to do a complete renovation of my second floor and plan to hire them for two new bathrooms.

They were very good. The owner is genuine and helpful. He kept us on knowing what's going on. The pricing was fair and very good. The quality turned out to be very good.

Had several issues with workmanship and quality during install, such as painting cabinet doors while they were leaning against painted walls and use of caulk to fill gaps in woodwork. Most were dealt with. Started having issues with a cabinet drawer last summer, owner came out and looked, saying he would fix it. That was over 12 months ago, actually had a date set up for repair, had someone stay at house, no one ever showed up or called with an explanation. We have left messages on numerous occasions and have gotten no response.

Within 24 hours he had drawings and complete information regarding every detail we requested including measurements and all, for cabinets, flooring, marble hearth, etc. Once we decided to employ him and details were in blueprint he called in professionals to confirm his exact measurements. He invited us to his show room studio to show us different cabinet designs. He also showed us what his intentions were in design,color and detail.. like upgrades. Bernie was amazing. He went above and beyond exceptional service. He was there monitoring his crews and any crews that he subbed. He provided such first rate service in regards to product, management, design and quality that we've already referred him to many others. The work was so wonderful in the end that the contractor wants to use the final construction for advertising of his own with photos of our new kitchen. He'd even like to host a wine and cheese event for potential clients in our home and we're so pleased to allow it. I felt from the very beginning we were dealing with a very honest contractor who was more concerned about our welfare than his own.

We called them out and explained our situation which was frustration with another contractor. We said we needed someone who would listen to us. He sat with us the next day and listened to everything we said. He listened quietly while sketching and taking notes.

This firm is one of the best contractors I have delt with. They are responsive, show up as agreed and on time, prepared to do the work. This was a project that I started in April, as a complete remodel of my home. The kitchen is part of the great room, so it involved the entire first floor of the home. I did the destruction, plumbing and wiring and rough build up. They were also contracted to do the finish carpentry, replacing all of the existing woodwork with Alder. The lead carpenter, Tim, is very meticulous and the installation faced some interesting challenges, as the house is 2 story concrete block with interior walls coated in plaster. The work was completed in January of the following year. The delays were that I did the first part of the construction myself, and it took longer than expected. They were very patient and helpfull in dealing with me. They were very picky about the quality of finish, and there has only been one minor issue since the work was completed.
