Dave was right on time and did an excellent job.  I would certainly use "A Dave's Lock and Safe again when needed.  The workmanship was spot on with attention to detail.

Dean from A Dave's called, as scheduled, the afternoon of the service and came to our house shortly after. He listened to my concerns, explained his recommendations, and went ahead with the installation. He replaced four existing deadbolts with incredible heavy-duty locks. He explained their operation and safety features, and took lots of time to talk to us and explain what he was doing. The deadbolts work like a charm. He cleaned up after the install. Overall, he did a great job and I will use A Dave's again for any locksmithing.

I needed to have my locks re-keyed, and called Dave's to inquire about the cost. The woman I spoke with gave me the option of sending someone out to do it at my home (which included a service fee), or having me bring in the cylinders and they'd do it in the shop. Since I wanted to keep the cost down and they're just a few miles from my home, I brought in the cylinders (4 of them) and had them re-keyed at the shop - for just $7 each. I was able to walk right in and hand over the cylinders, and within 10 minutes they were re-keyed, cleaned and oiled, and ready, along with 6 new copies of the key. The man at the counter was very professional and courteous.

Pretty great. He was really friendly, did exactly what he said he would and did it quickly.

The locksmith arrived on time with all the parts necessary for the job. He listened to all my concerns and promptly went to work. He was able to fix all the problems I was having with my locks and the failed door latch. He also provided advice about weather-proofing our often leaky front door.

Dave showed up right on time, replaced all the locks and fixed the lock box (even though we didn't mention that to him on the phone when setting up the appointment). Fast, efficient and pleasant. The cost was the same as other quotes we received.

Dave was prompt, thorough and really really nice.

They had wonderful responsiveness and courtesy when I called at 11 AM. Dave arrived at approximately 1:15 PM, changed the locks, reversed one of them, made multiple keys, and adjusted the hinges on two doors. He also gave me some useful suggestions, such as keeping a key in the double-locking deadbolt. Dave was friendly and extremely competent.
