Very well. From our 1st visit with Matt it was clear that his goal was to find us a refrigerator that would be a dependable resource for our needs. Kind of cool that he let us vent about our experience with our current fridge, then affirmed our choice of the Cafe model. Nice to deal with a person who listens first, then offers suggestions. The follow through was even better, as Dave, who may even own the store, called to advise about delivery availability and confirmed our time. On delivery day 2 men arrived 1 minute early, took a look at our site, and went to work. Neat, clean, no nonsense, 3/4 hour included delivery, takeaway of our old unit, hook-up water, and demonstration of the features. Impressive operation, great follow through. Bought a new gas range from Gordy. We already knew which model we wanted before we contacted him, but he went out of his way to be sure the whole transaction, including the delivery, went smoothly. When a small problem occurred, he made it right. He was willing to have the range installed by the plumber of our choice. He also gave excellent advice about the range hoods they carry, though we did not end up buying one at the time. I also worked with Matt when looking for a refrigerator (which I did not ultimately buy) and found him extremely helpful and informative, pointing out things I would not have thought to consider. An excellent experience all around!

Carlson was the most expensive for the model I wanted, but they could get it to me fastest, so I chose them. Their delivery was actually earlier than they had said; they called to make sure it was OK to come early, which is was. They were very efficient; got the old one out and the new one in and functioning in just a few minutes.

It isn't often that you find a company that provides such superb service, but AC Carlson is one of those companies. We've purchased several appliances over the years from them (washer/dryer, dishwasher, stove, refrigerator and two microwave ovens). We felt that their prices were fair and they offered a good selection of products. Where they really excel, however, is in their customer service. Earlier this year I accidentally burned up my microwave. (user error) It happened just before Labor Day weekend and I was leaving on Monday for an extended trip. They were great to work with and let me purchase over the telephone and arranged for  someone to deliver and install, even with the holiday weekend coming up so that I could handle it before I left. Then at midnight on a Friday night in October I discovered that we had water leaking from our refrigerator all over our kitchen floor. Normally, it wouldn't have been a big deal, but I know that it is difficult to find a repair person willing to come on a Saturday, and again, I was leaving early Monday morning for an overseas trip! I called Saturday morning, not very hopeful that I could get it sorted out before my trip and trying to figure out what my plan B would be, but Dave Carlson was a gem and came out that morning to repair it himself! You couldn't ask for better customer service than that! I can't recommend AC Carlson highly enough! If you need to buy an appliance, I highly recommend you give AC Carlson a call!

They're really good. The refrigerator was in the ballpark. It was reasonably priced. They gave us a loaner because our other refrigerator had died out. They came out with a loaner for free, until our refrigerator came in and then they installed it. They had to take the door off  the refrigerator to get it in the house and then they screwed it back together and it works good.

They were fantastic!  The price was reasonable and estimate was accurate.They were highly recommended due to great installation and they did not disappoint .  The installers were fantastic.  I am a customer for life and recommend them over any of the big box stores or anyone else for that matter.

We wanted a specific set of features in the range for the kitchen, and were only buying appliances, not redoing the whole kitchen.  Our salesperson, Gordy, was able to show us how one possibility would work for us.  This required detailed knowledge that I know is not available in most big box stores. Also, there are a very large number of brands on display in the showroom, which is bigger than it looks from the outside.   This helps in making decisions.  He also knew what special offers were available from the manufacturer, which meant a substantial savings.  Overall this is the right place to buy major appliances.  The only minor problem we had was a minor one with the schedule of the arrival of the installer, who came a little early.  Otherwise the installation went exactly as the Gordy said it would, and everything works as it should.
Look at the reviews for A. C. Carlson- everyone else gives them an A also.  If you are anywhere in the Twin Cities, you should go there for appliances.

They are hard to reach, to get calls back and do not follow through on promises. We had to use them the summer before to fix our central air through our warranty company again. It took a couple of days to get them here and then another couple of days to fix the unit. It was in the nineties so we were uncomfortable to say the least.

They delivered when they were supposed to. The company they use to install the appliances, Appliance Care, was great! Their people were very knowledgeable, very careful, kept us informed of what they were doing and they completed their work quickly. they cleaned up the area after the old appliances were removed and cleaned up after their work was done. Very nice people, very professional.

I've had a great experience with them and they did a good job. They were courteous, prompt, and very professional. They answered all of my questions and inquiries.

Dave Carlson gave us patient and helpful advice throughout the shopping process.  He helped us compare features and benefits of several brands, and gave us a competitive price on the package.  The store is also handling rebate paperwork for us.  We had a bit of a puzzle to solve with refrigerator placement, as the adjoining wall on the left of the fridge sticks out further than the cabinets on the right.  Dave helped us find a standard-depth fridge that would fit well (even with water line connections in back), and would also have room to swing the doors open fully.  We felt that Dave respected our budget parameters and did not push to up-sell.  At the same time, he pointed out features he felt added good value.  In comparing stores and product lines, we found that every appliance suite in our budget entailed some compromises.  For example, we might find a refrigerator that suited our needs but the matching range didn't have the features we were looking for.  Dave helped us evaluate those compromises and come up with a "best fit" for our situation.  The store also unpacked and inspected all of the appliances before delivering them.  In our experience, A. C. Carlson's service outperformed all of the big box stores we visited.
The delivery crew added a lot to our first-rate experience -- especially Luke, who has a genuine gift for customer relations.  From the first phone contact, Luke put us at ease with a friendly combination of humor and professionalism.  The delivery went quickly and carefully, at the scheduled time, without a scratch.  Luke leveled the fridge front-to-back and explained what he was doing and why.  Luke came back after his work day to shim the new fridge so that it would stand straight right-to-left.  He offered to come back yet again if our kitchen contractors didn't get the fridge back in place properly after connecting the water line.  We came home Friday afternoon to find the fridge off the shim, leaning to the right, and sitting further out into the kitchen than it should sit.  Luke came right over after work, repositioned the fridge, and reset the shim.  He also made sure the water was flowing properly, and confirmed that there were no leaks.  Thanks to Luke, the fridge was ready for our graduation party the next day.  That level of service exceeded our expectations and turned an "A" experience into an "A-Plus."

We decided to replace the old refrigerator since it was in its last gasp. I selected the model through consumer reports and called AC Carlson, and the price quoted was very competitive. They called in the morning of the delivery date and provided a 2 hours window for the delivery. They removed the old refrigerator with no extra charge, which is a bonus to me. The price I quoted included tax. The actual price of the refrigerator was $750.00

They did a great job. They were very experienced.

They were reasonable. I would recommend them. I liked their professionalism. The guy knew what he was doing. 

I was delighted. I would give them very high marks. There was nothing I was dissatisfied with. I knew I might pay more for a family-owned business, but I knew that and was comfortable with that. The service I received was outstanding.

I found what would have been a difficult process for me quite easy. I worked with Dave. Explaned that I needed a gas range and hood, refrigerator, small freezer, and added a microwave oven. I also explained that I was looking for "plain Jane" items. He showed me a freezer that would fit my needs. We went to gas ranges and he asked about a self-cleaning oven which really appealed to me. With the microwave he asked about having one over the stove, when I explained that they were more than I wanted to spend he immediately showed me a counter top model which again would fit my needs. When showing me refrigerator, he also showed me the next model up and did not say a word when I chose the lesser in cost model. The hood he showed me again was the bottom of the line and there was no pressure to upgrade. The arrangements for delivery and installation again presented no problems even though I requested the freezer be delivered at a later date. The delivery men called when he said I could expect them to. They arrived right on time, removed the old appliances and brought in the new ones right away, giving me time to clean where the old ones had been. The installation man also called and gave me an approximate arrival time, he was timely and completed the installation. I found the fan was making a really bad noise two days later, called Dave and we agreed that his men would look at it when they deliver the freezer. I felt the delivery charge as well as the appliance disposal charge was very fair.

It went very well. They arrived on time and were very neat and courteous. They did not damage anything, including my hardwood floors. My only disappointment is that apparently they do not service what they sell (as far as my understanding is) so if I have a problem down the road, I will basically be on my own to find a service dealer. It would be nice if they serviced what they sell. They were very helpful in the store and a highly recommend them.

We wanted new stainless steel appliances so we went to their store because Angie's List rated them so highly. We bought the appliances and they came out and installed them. They were in and out in under two hours for everything. They were very professional and very friendly. They sent one guy to reach the appliances and a couple of extras. They were just in and out. We would use the company again in the future. They would be our very first choice.

I felt good about going to them and the experience was good. The salesmen are extremely knowledgeable about the appliances. They also tell me about the reliability and give me good cooking tips. They are very family friendly and also have a place where kids can play. They also call after a year to get the feedback about the product that I bought from them. They really want to know about your experiences so; they can work on it and provide better service. If there is some problem with the appliances they take care of it as soon as you call them. They are a little more expensive but, they are worth it.

The experience with A C Carlson went exceptionally well. Everything was very easy. I picked out my appliances online. They had better prices than what I could find online. The sales person walked me through everything. I was very impressed with the delivery and installation. They were extra polite, took off their shoes, they were super careful carrying in the appliances, and they made sure everything was cleaned up. My appliances looked great when they were done. It was just a really good experience. They went above and beyond, for customer service. There was an install charge, but since the rebate had ran out, they compensated me the delivery/install charge. It was more personal, than buying from larger chain stores. I will be going back there, for any major appliance purchases in the future.

This company is great! Family owned business and they pride themselves on customer service. The delivery crew is friendly and they take great care in the installation of the appliances. I could have gone to one of the national big box companies and purchased these appliances, but the care and customer service wouldn't have come close to what AC Carlson provides. My remodeling took longer than expected and they were very understanding when I had to keep pushing back the delivery date.
