Exceeded expectations! Andrew and his team were able to level and add supports to our floor to carry the load of a kitchen island that was part of our kitchen renovation. Flooring companies were only able to offer a band-aid fix that did not address the cause or offer a permanent solution. We were so thankful to find Andrew and his team of experts at Load Bearing Wall Company. They understand that level floors are key to a structurally sound home. They also installed a 14 ft. steel beam that repaired structural damage and allow us to realize our open concept dream kitchen. I would hire them again without reservation. From the first initial meeting and throughout the project (which only took a few days), Andrew was responsive and made sure we knew what was happening every step of the way. They treated our home like it was their own.

We hired Andy (Load Bearing Wall Company) to “remodel” our 120 year-old, two story porch. After his first inspection, it became obvious that we needed to “rebuild the porch”. The roof on the second floor had never been tied into the house, the main vertical structural elements were just boxes of thin wood and the floor on the first level had a cracked structural floor beam (always wondered about the progressive floor sag). Andy and his consultants engineered a system to tie the existing roof into the main building without the need for replacement saving 40-50k. Solutions were also found to strengthen the vertical supports and replace the cracked beam. We now have a beautiful, structurally sound porch with two nicest rooms in the house. Andy is an excellent communicator. Estimates were spot on and when problems were encountered, he always provided solutions at several price points. Would I use him again? We’re already planning the next project.

It went very well, this was not an easy task due to the attachment point for the rail was not ideal. However Andy and his fellow co-worker used their creativity to secure a strong practical rail. These guys were very professional he kept me informed about his arrival time and encouraged open communication. He was willing to work with me financially and the price was very reasonable. He was concerned about my satisfaction. I would definitely use this company again and refer them to others. I think reviews are important when finding someone to do a job that meets your expectations, Again you won't be disappointed with this company. Andy and his crew were amazing. They were incredibly professional throughout the process from start (concept) to finished construction. They also were very careful to remain aware of our budget constraints and worked with us to find great solutions to the inevitable challenges that come up in old homes like ours. Andy and Worth got our plans from paper to reality a couple of years ago. We’ve lived in the new space for awhile now and still love every last thing about it. They were willing to work with us when I was changing my mind at different points and the work they did has help up wonderfully. Any issues we have had Post-remodel they have come right back out to address or repair or re-think with us. I was a little sad when the work was completed because they were a great team to have around the house!

Andy Long & team were the GC for our new construction home in Minneapolis. Our project was unique and required much attention, patience and creative solution thinking. I liked the design pattern they came up with. They did something unusual for our house anyways. We had horizontal siding and now we have horizontal and vertical siding which gives it a better look. They took down the metal posts and put up the cedar posts. They installed the roof over the side door and they did it in all in the December time frame very efficiently in the cold weather  I was very impressed with the outcome. I think they started the end of November and finished the middle of December.
