In their opinion I needed to replace both axles, struts and bearings for a total price of $2,600 dollars. Fortunately, I decided to get a second opinion and ended up only replacing one axle with a torn CV boot for a total cost of $450 dollars. I don't know if they intentionally overstated their repair estimate, but I would get a second opinion in cases that are not clear cut in what is wrong with your vehicle. I also found it suspicious that I did not get a written checklist for the inspection that was done, which I wanted for the details. They were really convincing in up selling the parts and services that they were providing.

Excellent, I continue to go back. They are performing repair and services on my daughters and granddaughter vehicle. If I didn't trust them, I wouldn't let them "touch" my families vehicles.

Great! I would highly recommend Nordgren Automotive and already have in the past. You won't be disappointed.

Went in for an oil change. They didn't inquire what type of oil I'd like to use, so they put in basic - why not ask so the customer can always use the oil of their preference and they can upcharge for the service if need be?

Owner was in his office working and never had a casual conversation with customer - perhaps a good way to build rapport and professional relationship so all car services can be brought to his company in the future?

When car was finished, they listed 6 other things that needed to be done with it. Granted, I knew one was a leaking oil issue that I asked about. Requested that owner send an e-mail with quotes so I could get the work performed by them in the future. He never did. I brought my business elsewhere.

Doesn't seem company wants to grow their business and have any connections with their customers. Very strange for a small business just getting started. I wanted to give my business to a local company, but will have to look somewhere else for excellent customer service.

Great, they did everything as expected and did an safety inspection check.

We have been using Nordgren for some time now and have always been happy with their professionalism, courtesy and efficiency.

Nordgren was the cheapest we came across to switch out our all-season tires with winter tires which we already owned.  However, in the process of doing this, they tried to offer us a number of additional services for way more than the competition (e.g., almost $50 for an oil change, a lot of money to replace the air and cabin filter, and were pushing to have our car's suspension replaced).  While we were waiting, we heard one of the service guys trying to sell a bunch of additional services to another customer who came in for a single service.  They are quite nice, and are fine when you refuse service, but there's definitely the feeling that they are trying to upsell you on services once you get in the door, and the pricing on these services is certainly not the best.

Came for the simple alignment.
First I was told that there is a $40 charge to lift my car. So if they decide that car can not be aligned they will charge me $40. Seams very high for 5 minutes of lifting the car.
I brought the car from the dealership just a week ago where everything was checked out and everything was in great to good condition, so I was not worried about lift charge.
Then I got a call... with the up-sell.  Struts needs to be changed (leaking..). They were not leaking a week ago, so I was skeptical...
Power-steering rack needs to be changed.....
Then I was told that they could not do a good job on alignment because of the leaking strut. Even if strut was leaking or just started leaking, it would not affect ability to align - totally took away my tentative trust of the shop. 
In the end, I got the list with numbers stating that alignment was done, but the car is still lightly pulling to the right (much less than it did). I do not have time to drop off the car again (it takes them more than 2 hours to align the car and they suggested that I drop it off).
Granted it could be something else why the car is pulling...  
Nice place, nice people (they gave me the ride back to home), but up-sell is a definite turn off and their prices (aside from the alignment deal) are on the higher side.

I finally got to replace the shocks. Car has high miles and since the shop told me they need to be replaced, I gave them benefit of the doubt.
Shocks do not leak at all. Moreover, they work and look as new! So this shop covered their ineptitude and inability to do simple alignment with absolutely unnecessary up-sell! Trying to sell me $1000 of unneeded work instead of doing $60 requested work. I changed my ratings and highly recommend all of you to stay out of this shop and go somewhere where people are honest. After all it is your car and money and nerves!

The one thing I really like about going to Nordgren Automotive is they are "HONEST ". Try them out !!!! I am a long time customer of theres and will never go any were else!!!

It went well. I priced out the job with my regular mechanic who couldn't see me in a timely fashion. Jeremy's price was higher than my mechanic would have been, but he was able to get me in right away, offered a loaner car (which I didn't need) and I got a coupon for the service.
Although Nordgren Automotive is very close to me and it's nice to work with someone local on a smaller scale rather than the bigger companies, be ready to pay a bit more for their services.

Jeremy is the owner and mechanic there. He got me in quickly and efficiently as far as when everything was going to be done. It was very easy. They weren't so far away.

They were very professional.  I had used them before and when I asked for a ride back home, they were happy to accommodate me.  (I live very close!)
I called a few months later and asked for a receipt for my records and they were responsive--emailing it to me right away and asking if there were any concerns I had with the tires. (I did not, just couldn't find the receipt.)

I think Nordgren's does quality work for the going rate.  This was my third time using their service.  They are honest and do good, reliable work.  I knew my transmission needed repair.  While Nordgren's is not a transmission shop, I felt they would treat me fairly versus unknown treatment at a transmission shop.  Nordgren's removed my transmission and sent it out for rebuild.  As my transmission had serious damage inside, it took longer than I expected for rebuild shop to get all the necessary parts.  Took almost 2 weeks to get my truck back.  Nordgren provided a loaner car.  so, I was had no issues.    Transmission is warranted for 100,000 miles and everything seems to be working well.

 I like coming here because Jeremy and his staff do such nice work.  Jeremy always explains what needs to be done and the cost,  What I like more is the fact he gives me options of what has to be repaired right now  versus what can wait.  They are friendly and have always exceeded my expectations. 

I was referred to Nordgren's by a friend who has used them in the past.  I've never been very comfortable in repair shops.  Always feel taken advantage of.  Very different experience at Nordgren's. They performed an inspection on my car, then gave me a detailed summary of what needed to be done.  Jeremy even prioritized the repairs for me.  That really helped me with me budget.  I willbe back to Nordgren Automotive whenever my car needs attention.

In the automotive trade, there are a lot of bad companies.  Jeremy fixes what you need fixed and tells you how important it is.  He is an honest guy and is my mechanic for life.  His prices are better than everybody else's, as well.
