+ -1 moreGave Ben a general idea of what we were looking for and let him go. He was able to do all the work and not damage any of the trees that provided quite a challenge. Job was completed on time even with some slight design changes. Very courteous and professional. I would highly recommend.
Description of Work: Set 50+ boulders on steep hill, installed granite stairs up hill, and seeded hill then covered with coconut cover.

Description of Work: Ben delivered sand to us and gave some recommendations for keeping our shoreline intact. He has done several larger projects for my mom who also lives on the same lake. He does an excellent job and has always been very easy to work with. Ben also donated a bunch of stones to my classroom for a science project on rocks. We look forward to working with him again. Thank you!

+ 1 moreWe ended up with a wonderful entryway to our home. Ben was great to work with and was respectful of the original trees and grasses, laying down rubber mats when needed to protect the ground cover he was working on. We would absolutely recommend Cold Stone to anyone who needs include retaining walls, shoreline protection, patios, landscaping or erosion control.
Description of Work: The steep slopes at our new home’s driveway entrance posed a landscaping challenge—and the potential to be an erosion problem in years to come. We didn’t like typical concrete-block-style retaining walls but worried our budget might not handle the more natural-looking solution of using the trap rock boulders we wanted. Thanks to John Lee's selection of attractive rocks and Ben’s meticulous placement of them, we now drive between beautifully terraced, rocky slopes instead of an eyesore.
