We used this company for several years for snow plowing, but would never hire them again. The driver was really bad about driving up onto the lawn, but the last year was the worst. He pushed snow so far up into the yard before the ground was frozen, that he made enormous ruts in the lawn from all 4 of his truck tires that were almost impossible to fix in the spring. It required us to do extensive work hauling in dirt, tamping around the ruts, seeding, and watering. Complaints about this issue over the years were ignored, with the supervisor unwilling to come out and address the situation. It almost seemed like this past year the driver deliberately went out of his way to ruin the lawn.

Denny came out to see what we needed done. Since we felt that we'd be coming up with additional items when the crew was here, we opted for an hourly, rather than a flat, rate. The crew arrived a week later and after 4.5 hours, they did everything we requested. The results were beyond our expectations. They went about their work efficiently and professionally, and did a great job of cleaning up before leaving. We've used LCS for this type of work before, and will continue to do so. As a matter of fact they'll be out in November to remove a large dead elm.

I own a small Self-Storage in Minneapolis. I hired LCS for years, without any problems or complaints from my customers. They plowed out the doors, and always kept the area clear. They communicated through email so we knew when they were plowing. I couldn't as for more.

Their price was competitive. They did a good job with the weed control. They missed a few clover patches the first treatment and got them all with the second of three treatments. The third will be in the fall.

They provide our annual lawn maintenance with multiple treatments using pet safe products and a lawn aeration twice a year. They always call or email to let us know when they are coming out. We have no complaints and they have been really good for us. They do an excellent job. I will definitely recommend them and absolutely use them, again.

Contaced LCS Lawn to get help with a pretty severe Creeping Charlie issue in our lawn. I was very impressed with the prompt response and with the excellent job they did- after seeing their work, I scheduled fall fertilizer treatment and core aeration as well. I would highly recommend LCS Lawn.

Very pleased however their forte is not tree removal so their prices are higher for that type of service. Using them again next summer for scheduled lawn fertilizer and weed killer.

Their work is good, however, their billing practices are abysmal, their invoices are difficult to track, there is overlapping billing, and sometimes two months worth of bills are sent, instead of a monthly bill. This is very disruptive for budgeting and cash flow. Good work if you don't mind unpredictable billing.

I am very disappointed in LCS Lawn Service. I've had two other lawn care services in the past and my lawn looks terrible. I chose them because of their rating on Angie's List. It's embarrassing to think I'm paying for a lawn service the way my lawn is looking. I even had LCS do fall overseeding and aeration last year fall of 2016. 1) Denny agreed someone would come out and look at the lawn in the spring to determine the best package for my lawn. This never happened. Instead they recommended the 5 step program which I purchased. They said if I was not satisfied, they would look at the lawn after treatment was started and that we could make adjustments. 2) I spoke to one of the technicians when they came out for a summer treatment. I asked him about why the lawn looked so bad. He suggested that top soil and over seeding would be helpful for the bare spots but LCS didn't provide this service. He suggested doing a PH soil test. I'm not sure if this was done as I never received a report like I my invoice said I would. 3) I also called Denny who came out in June and looked at the lawn. He told me they will do double aeration and seeding for free this fall. It remains to be seen whether this will even help my lawn for next year. He also said he would come out again and check-up on the lawn, which I don't believe has yet happened. Summary: Had someone looked at the lawn prior to purchasing a plan and had I known LCS Services does NOT provide top soil/lawn seeding services, I would never have selected them. I have the worst looking lawn in the neighborhood. As of this post, I am not a satisfied customer and would never recommend LCS Lawn Services.

"The lawn was in pretty rough shape when [Member Name Removed] started with us this spring. Our plan was to eliminate the weed and the crabgrass first, then aerate and overseed in fall to help speed up the reestablishment of her turf grass. At this point her weeds and crabgrass are under control and she is schedule for her aeration and overseeding in a few days. We did do a pH test and she came back a little high but in the acceptable range. Unfortunately [Member Information Removed] far we have only called the customers who have a pH result outside the acceptable range. I agree we should have kept in better contact with her along the way to keep her updated on the progress and that is something that we will work on improving. Denny did talk to her a few days ago and went over her concerns and I believe that we are in agreement on everything moving forward."

My lawn has never looked so good! All of the dandelions and weeds are gone. I am a flower gardener and they are very sensitive to that when treating for weeds in the yard. They always ask if there are any spots or issues that I want them to be aware of. So far I only use them for fertilizing and care of my yard. If I every need any other service they offer I will not hesitate to ask instead of going somewhere else. -

They come, do their lawn process but lawn looks horrible. I gave them feedback about how bad our lawn looks with weeds, big brown patches, etc. and got no response. I mentioned it when they were scheduling their routine visit and they just want to resend their guy out again and again. They don't really care about taking care of the lawn, they just care about getting service contracts. I'm really frustrated.

"Mrs [Member Name Removed] said she talked to someone in our office about some concerns on her lawn and unfortunately those concerns did not get passed on to our technician. Upon leaning about this, we met with them to go over her concerns. We did discover some weeds that we will be touching up but the primary issue was that the lawn has picked up fungus called dollar spot. We did discuss a few things that can be done to help combat this disease and we well be following up in a week or so to make sure that the lawn is recovering from the fungus."

The grass is brown, crabgrass plentiful. My lawn turned brown after the 2nd application on June 6th and is just now recovering in August. They took no responsibility, said that I am mowing and watering incorrectly and that I have a fungus, possibly grubs, and a disease called aschotchita. I had a lawn professional look at it twice and he said my lawn has no disease and is burned. Mistakes happen and I understand that. I expect a reasonable resolution and a refund, not blame and denial. Never hire a lawn service that doesn't employ someone with a working knowledge of earth sciences.

"We have not treated this lawn in 2 months. We last used an organic based fertilizer that would have had to have been extremely over applied to cause a burn. The lawn was inspected back in June by someone at our company with nearly 20 years of experience and he did not see any evidence of a fertilizer burn. He did find that the lawn had developed a fungus and the only burn he found at that time was from dog spots near the side walk. he also found that the lawn was being cut at 1 1/2" and scalped to the ground in a few places. Unfortunately these are things that are out of our control. We did make recommendations but were told to hold off on any further treatments until improvement was seen. A refund will be issued today for any balance on the account."

We had never used a lawn company before but we have a huge weed problem including Creeping Charlie. After research Angie’s List, we sent out for a couple bids. After receiving LCS Lawn Care’s estimate we decided to go with them. We started with their plan for weed control. They then sent out a flyer on remulch and liked their estimate on this too so we had them do it. After that we then emailed them and started the mosquito application. It has only been a month but we so far are very happy with all the services that we have hired them to do. They are very friendly; they give timely responses, and answer all of our questions. We also feel that the prices they charge are very reasonable. The two people we worked with so far are Denny and Justin. They have been great!! I would recommend this company to anyone.
