CUTTING EDGE TREE SERVICE

I tried an online search site for small business ads to get estimates for tree (7 medium-sized maple and ash) and brush removal from the back portion of my lot, hoping to get a bid no higher than $250. Cutting Edge and two other businesses were all very close, but Cutting Edge was the only one to offer a $250 estimate up front w/o requiring cash. Jeremy and his colleague bested other bidders by projecting a can-do attitude, verbally sizing up and explaining their projected methods of handling the job, and being inquisitive about the work and site. They were able to set up an convenient estimate time, set up a time within two weeks to do the job (I was in no hurry), and got the project done in less than 2.5 hours. They did the work they were supposed to do and did a marvelous job-- stumps were cut very close to the ground and the materials were taken almost to a twig, with no mess. And they did this job while we were gone. The only minor demerit I'll give them was they were almost 2 hours late from their estimated arrival time and did not call to inform us. Even with the delay, they completed things at the expected time.
