ROB'S CUSTOM UPHOLSTERY & FLOORING

We had gone to 5 other shops to look at window treatments in the Metro area. We wish we had tried Rob's first. It would have saved us lot of time and travel. Ann was able to answer all of our questions and was very knowledgeable about window treatments.

There is really nothing to comment on - everything went smoothly, though the wait between placing the order and installing the treatments was two weeks longer then predicted. They were professional, knowledgeable, helpful, friendly - everything I look for in a company I want to deal with. If I ever need flooring, upholstery or window treatments again, I will go to Rob's first. I did get bids, and their price was the most competitive.

Job was performed on time and on budget.

We needed the seat of an antique rocking chair reupholstered. The seat was black leather. The leather had worn away and the springs were exposed. We took the chair to Rob's many months ago and they said that they would likely have enough black leather left from a project they were planning to do to also complete the chair. This would save us the considerable money of having to buy an entire hide for the seat. Though there were some delays with the other project, we were in no hurry to get the chair back. We picked it up recently and they did a beautiful job! And they also charged us what they had estimated. We had used Rob's many years ago to reupholster two wing-backed chairs. They did such a good job that we thought we would try them again. We were not disapppointed. We would definitely recommend them.
